Oh no...they will tell me about adopting another child and not loving me!

I started tearing up and shook my head no.

Steve;‚y/n what's going on?'

I ran out into the garden and buddy followed me.

Steve:„y/n come back!'

He ran after me again and stopped me by grabbing after my arm.

Y/n:„i don't wanna go! Please I will do everything for you ok? I don't wanna leave-"

Steve:„what are you talking about?"

Y/n:„don't put me back...please!"

My heart was racing and after I calmed down we walked back inside.

Bucky :„what's going on?'

Y/n:„don't do it! Please! I promise-"

Steve:„darling tell us what's going on! Why are you so scared?"

Y/n:„you will adopt another kid! And give me back! You will stop loving me! And I don't wanna leave you-"

Steve:„no! Oh god! Oh no...baby that's not true!"

Y/n:„but you talked about it..."

Bucky:„but we would never stop loving you!"

Steve:„we won't adopt another kid baby!"

Y/n:„you won't?"

Daddy shook his head no and I started thinking about it...

Peter was like a brother to me...

Anna had her sister Liz and was happy...

Y/n:„but...i wanna have a brother or sister..."

Steve:„you do?"

I nodded and both of them smiled a bit.

Bucky:„we don't know if we should get another kid...maybe we can take a foster child just for a week!"

Steve:„you mean something like a short-term placement?"

Dad nodded and I sat down on daddy's lap still with tears all over my face.

Steve:„maybe we could go there tomorrow after school huh?'

He looked at me as I sniffled.

Y/n:„mhm..."

Steve:„now baby don't cry...we love you more than anything on this world ok?"

I nodded and they chuckled as I wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him tightly.

Steve:„and we wanted to talk!"

I looked up at them and they sat me down on the couch in front of them.

Steve;„your rules! You must eat darling! The whole weekend you hadn't eaten anything!'

Y/n:„i know...I just wasn't feeling well..."

Bucky;„we know baby...but now you must eat something!'

I nodded and we started eating.

~evening~

We were all sitting together and my dad's were talking about the new kid.

They put me to bed later and in the morning I went to school by bus.

Today the kids ignored me cause there was the bus driver who helped me last time.

After school my dad's picked me up and we ate lunch at a restaurant.

Then we drove to the foster home...

Oh god there were a lot of kids.

I was holding my dad's hands tightly and started shivering.

Steve:‚y/n it's ok..."

Bucky:„yes we're here with you!'

Woman:‚hi! I'm Julia how can I help you?'

Steve:„we wanted to take care of a foster child maybe just for a week if that's possible?"

Woman:„you and your partner?"

Steve:„h-husband! Yeah!"

Woman:„yeah! Follow me please!"

Woman:„we have a 1 year old boy! A couple wants to adopt him in two weeks so you can have him for this one! If that's ok for you!"

My dad's looked at eachother and nodded, then they looked down at me and knelt down.

Bucky:„is that really ok for you honey? Be honest! We love you ok?"

I nodded and they stroked over my hair.
