Lapis: Have a holly jolly christmas! It's the best time of the year! I don't know if it will snow, but it's not even Halloween yet when this part of the chapter has been written, so I don't expect that to happen. Hi readers!! The October special was a lot of fun to write, and because Christmas is our favorite holiday here, we decided to do what everyone does and present you all with mini stories. But because everyone usually does 3, we're doing 4!! SUCK IT DISNEY!! Umm, for the record, I have no actual issues with disney, I just thought it would be funny to say. Let's just forget that.
This first one is post season 2 of the OG story
This takes place right before season 3 begins in the original story. Christmas was coming up so everyone had to get ready! Ella was humming songs as she put the ornaments on the tree with Sunshine, Solar was helping Rose with her Christmas look, still sorta new to being a deer hybrid, Pearl and Jake were working on Christmas decorations, Lapis was getting her pranks ready, Diamond was writing Christmas poems and Spark... Spark wasn't in the regular Christmas cheer. He has been in his lab for a few days now, focusing like crazy one one subject, but Ella came along to check on him
Ella: Care to explain what's in your head?
Spark: Long story short, take Crampus, put him on steroids, pump him full of petrified darkness, and you have the Yule man. This is the year I'm going to end his reign of kidnapping and child torchor!
Ella: Please just don't make this a big deal
Spark: I promise I won't. I'm literally 1 hour away from finishing this life long mission, and once it's over, I'll be more festive than ever!
There was a siren that went off and spark went running to grab a shotgun, the Bone Breaker, and portals away
Ella: Well at least he sounds like he will be happy afterwards
Back at the house
Rose: Is the nose too much?
Solar: We can use the old clown nose to see how it looks before something else to see how it works
Rose: Actually, I have an idea. I want you to surprise me. Do whatever you think would work!
Solar: I'm not sure. I might mess something up
Rose: Please? Your amazing at painting, I think you'll be perfect with this
He takes a deep breath and gives it his best go
Meanwhile with Lapis and Diamond
Diamond has been trying to figure out what makes Christmas movies work so well so she can write a christmas poem or even just a children's story while Lapis has been wanting to binge watch almost all christmas movies anyway so she's just there for a movie watching excuse
Lapis: Did you get any good notes?
Diamond: Yeah, there's a lot of good things I learned! Are you ok?
Lapis: Yup! Never better!
Diamond: Are you sure? You've eaten like 15 buckets of christmas popcorn covered in butter, caramel and peppermint
Lapis: Definitely! You gotta eat popcorn while watching movies and you can only get this stuff once a year!
A few handfuls later
Lapis: I take that back, I think I'm dying... And this time I'm not even joking. Call an ambulance!
Meanwhile with Ella as Lapis was being taken to the hospital
Ella: Ok, we have the tree done, lights are hung up outside, missile toe is in all the door ways *giggles* All we need now are the extremely ugly Christmas sweaters, and the photo!
