Day after the last chapter, and everything's been relatively calm. Lots of compliments for the new look, Ace has been puking most of the night, Rose is getting close to her due date but not to the point where it may be a problem, and Ella got major sunburns so she's not having a good week to say the least
In Bridget and Ace's hotel room
Bridget: What happened to you? Looks like you got hit by hulk swinging a tree at you
Ace *groan* I hit a tree in this VR game last night.
Bridget: I thought Mia invited you to the amusement park because she was bored. Can't help but notice you 2 have been spending a lot of time together
Ace: The amusement park has a VR place and I got dizzy after hitting the VR tree, then hit a real tree. We've just been enjoying each other's company. She's really bubbly
Bridget: I have no plans at all. You have any?
Ace: Umm... only that I wanted to maybe try a new restaurant for lunch. Haven't found anything good
Bridget: You want food, make something yourself!!! You are this universe's best cook!!!
Ace: I'll tell everyone soon! I promise!!
Bridget: I'm not going with that again. I told everyone I'm a cyborg, now it's your turn to tell everyone you can cook! Or I'm stealing your... your... uhhh... I'm out of threats. But you get the point
Ace: Got it.
Later on at breakfast
Ace: So I was thinking maybe we go out for lunch with a few others?
Mia: Sure!! Sounds like a great time!
Ace: Ok then. Just need to find a place
While trying to think, someone came to mind! Sunshine can control time. Maybe she would know what the future holds for places they'd like. So he went over to her table and asked
Ace: You can look into the future right?
Sunshine: Only a few days but yeah.
Ace: Can you tell me anything that happens?
Sunshine: I could but you already know why I don't
Ace: What about you tell me what restaurant we would like?
She thinks about that for a few seconds, then closes her eyes to look into the future.
Sunshine: There is a restaurant next to the Chocolate factory's amusement park. Get the reservation now before it's too late, and only bring Mia
Ace: Why only Mia?
Sunshine: It's a surprise. Trust me, you'll both have a great time though
She started to rub her head like something is wrong
Ace: Are you ok?
Sunshine: Just looking into the future makes me nauseous. It'll go away soon
Ace: we'll thank you for the help!!
Sunshine: No problem!!
He runs off
Alex: Do you ever feel like you're too powerful for your own good?
Sunshine: No. I only use my power for fun! Do you ever find it weird that your power is fire yet you own an ice cream shop?
Alex: Constantly.
Back at the table, Ace was deep in thought
Bridget: Mind me asking what's on your mind?
Ace: Not really anything. Just thinking about someone
