Caleb is sleeping on his desk full of experiments and inventions, when he got hit by a powerful blast of water to the face
Caleb: Cleo, what the heck was that for?!
This time, it wasn't her sister. But another family prankster
Lapis: I'm not your sister but that was cause you were gonna be late and it smells like you haven't showered since you left home
Caleb: Mom? What are you doing here?
Lapis: I got sent up here to make sure everyone's ready for vacation. And cause I knew you haven't showered
Caleb: Showers can wait! I'm getting close to something big!
Lapis: Caleb, you always say that. Your father and I are so proud of you but we wish you would take your science a little less seriously. Your missing life! Please, just for a few days, can you take a break?
Caleb doesn't say anything
Lapis: If you agree, I'll show you something you haven't that's science related
Caleb: Ok fine!
She pulls off a glove on her left hand revealing a robotic replacement
Caleb: HOW DID YOU GET THAT?!?
Lapis: No need to yell but your Uncle. I lost my hand at your age and he gave me this
Caleb: Why would you hide this for so long?!
Lapis: He didn't want you to bother him or your dad with their advanced science so we hid it, but they told me I could tell you. Please don't get mad at them for keeping it a secret
Caleb: Mad? I don't care about that! I have so many questions!!
Lapis: They agreed to answer some, but if you ask too many they won't answer any
Caleb: Fine, fine
Lapis: Alright come on! Everyone's outside

Ace: Has anyone seen my mom?
Pearl: We haven't seen Rose yet
Frost: I got a message they're running a little late
Rocky: How long will it take?
Pearl: It's a 3 day long drive without planning breaks
Mia: This is gonna be painful to be in the car for 3 full days!
Trace: That's true... but we planed for that
Spark slaps the van twice and it turns into a jet with enough room for everyone
