A/N: Please don't hate me.

__________

"Welcome to your deathbeds." 1 said with a sneer.

We all stood, dripping on the wet cave floor.

I looked back to when Travis told me 1's name.

J? J-O... S? J-O-S-E-P-H.

But what about the last name?

E-L-M? E-L-M-E-R.

"Joseph Elmer." I said aloud.

1 was taken aback. "H-how do you know that?"

I smiled. "Travis told me."

1 clenched his fists. "I should've shattered him then and there..." He mutters.

I smirked at him.

1's eyes lit with fire as his gaze narrowed at me. "You caused me a lot of trouble, you know. Too bad you brought your friends along. They may not make it out alive."

I clenched my fists and grit my teeth. "25," I said.

"24?" Kirstie replied.

I closed my eyes, considering my decision.

There's no other way.

"Go. Take them with you. Leave. I'll be all right."

"Mitch, you'll die!" Scott protests.

"Scott, go!" I commanded. "It's for your own good."

"No!" Scott yells. "I lost Alex, and I'm sure as heck not losing you."

"Scott, please," I begged.

"Come on, Scott." I heard Kirstie say.

"No, I'm not leaving Mitch!" Scott says.

"Go!" I barked. I barely recognized my own voice. It was so full of anger.

And I was angry. Scott was being as stubborn as a mule. I was trying to protect him. Keep him safe. But he's so hard-headed and... caring.

I unclenched my fists as I heard Scott's pleadings fade into silence as he's pulled under.

__________

Okay I lied again. This one is short.

But I PROMISE the next one will be longer.

And the next chapter is the last one oh my gooooooosh. It's been such an incredible journey.

If you have anymore questions about anything in the series, leave your question in the comments.

I'll answer it in the next chapter if I can.
