Xander's Pov (Moment before the last chapter)

Heading to my first class of the day in true me fashion I'm here before the teacher I sighed and put my headphones on listening to music leaning my shoulder against the wall near the door.

While getting lost in the song a student bumped my shoulder really hard causing me to drop my books and papers on the floor "seriously" I mattered leaning down on all fours picking up the stuff I dropped.

Making my way towards the last bit of paper another hand drifted to the paper I stopped and looked up and saw a girl with long blonde hair and glasses with ocean eyes and cute freckles "Are you alright that guy bumped you pretty hard" she sounded so sweet

"Oh yeah don't worry about it" I chuckled standing back up from the floor and rubbing the back of my head trying to play it cool

She chuckled and handed me the paper "Edgar Allen Poe The Raven" she read the top of my paper and smiled "that's a good poem it maybe dark but it's really good"

I grabbed my paper and smiled "you maybe the first person I met who actually likes the poet and poem"

Before she could say anything I see my teacher running down the halls with his tie all crooked and hair all messed up "Guys. I'm. So Sorry for being late" he panted catching his breath and opening the door to the classroom

I entered the class and made my way to the back of the classroom sitting down at the desk opening my book and getting my pens out ready to start writing. I sighed putting my chin into my hand. Another day another boring class

The teacher soon looked at the girl who was with me in the hallway "Oh right class! This is our new student Hayley Goodwin." He said "I would let you introduce yourself but I going to start the lesson. Sit next to Xander" he said panting writing today's lesson on the board

I put my hand up so Hayley could find me. Hayley is a really pretty name I thought smiling

Hayley looked at me with a small smile putting her bag down next her and sitting down at the desk beside me. Her long blonde hair placed perfectly over her shoulders and her glasses pushed up on the bridge of her nose. She glanced over at the board taking down notes

Minutes passed by and I started to doze off, class was boring. The learning off persuasive writing made my eyes close like curtains on a stage. Soon darkness fell and my pencil rolled off my desk

(Hayley's Pov)

I looked over and saw Xander asleep at his desk. The teacher too focused on the lesson didn't even seem to notice the cute emo boy next to me sleeping.

A smile appeared on my face he was so cute sleeping I thought while red appeared across my cheeks and nose.

While writing down the notes I could feel Xander's leg rub against mine while he was asleep, he must be having a very interesting dream I thought maybe it's about me. Thinking about that thought made me realize that Xander must like me

Taking out my phone I turned it on and flicked up to the camera putting it in selfie mode. Taking a photo of Xander sleeping with my face just slightly out of frame, making sure the teacher didn't notice me. I smiled looking at the photo,

"He's so cute" I whispered sending the photo to my friend Heather

Not even a minute later I saw Heather standing outside the classroom looking at me signalling me to go outside

Raising my hand I told the teacher I needed to use the restroom and I made my way out of the classroom

"Omg omg omg omg Girl you like the emo kid! Eeeee you would make such a cute couple! The Nerdy Girl and the Emo boy! Ahhh" Heather got all so excited about it that she was holding my arms really tightly jumping around in front of the classroom

"Shhhhhh!! Not so loud! Come on" I said leaving the hallway grabbing Heather's arm dragging her to the tree behind the school

"You both would be so cute together and everyone is wanting the new ones" Heather said winking at me

I started to blush "omg Heather!! But he won't like me. I heard from others that he's with some dude. I don't have a shot" She sighed

Heather pouted "Oh Come on babes!! No one cares about some Gay relationship anyway, it's old news. Come on I'm taking you somewhere" Heather dragged me to Wall near the tree was

"This Wall has every single couple in the school and I don't see any Xander and whoever the guy he's withhhhhh." Heather pulled out her red spray paint can from her bag and wrote Xander's name and my name and put a heart around it

I smiled a little feeling quite happy, even if I know me and Xander aren't a couple...Then it hit me. I turned to Hayley "What if I kissed him. You know in front of everyone in the halls after class" I said feeling proud of myself

Heather turned to me "Omg Omg Omg yes girl do it I'll record everything and post it! Eeeeeeeeeeeeee I can't wait!"

As we walked back to class the bell wrang I quickly grabbed my things and rushed to find Xander with Heather following behind me

(Xander's Pov)

As I put away the books in my locker I was grabbing my art stuff and I soon heard put steps running towards me I held my arms up with my book covering my face I started to breathe heavily ,

Soon the running stopped "Xander" Hayley said panting

I put my book down and I looked at the heavy breathing girl with her breasts moving in and out by every breath "Oh my God Hayley you scare-" Before I could finish my sentence it was cut off by Hayley's lips pressing against mine

The girl behind Haley had her phone out recording everything "omggggg you guys cutest new couple at Crystalmp highhhh" She said

Without even thinking I pushed Hayley off as she fell to the ground, everyone looked at me with horror and disbelief.

"Did he really just push his Girlfriend" The words spread like fire to everyone from the corner of my eye I saw (Y/N)'s best friend Josh running through the halls at that moment I could feel everything tightening. I grabbed my books and ran to my next class.

Walking towards the room I could hear loud noises of banging and rage I peered inside "(Y-Y/N)..." I spoke in feat and shaking

His eyes started at me with glimpses of evil and hate "Who the fuck is she Xander! Who the fuck is Hayley!?"

Ive never heard him get mad at me before. His voice echoed I could see people staring at me. "I-i can explain..."

His rage got worse he grabbed me by my hoodie pinning me to the wall. I dropped everything and fear shocked through my body it felt like I was being electrocuted "N-No please dont hurt me (Y/N). Please don't hurt me don't!!" I shouted as tears rolled down my cheek and onto his arms.

I looked at him I could feel his arms start shaking letting me go. I fell to my knees picking up my stuff and looking him in the eyes as a single tear rolled down his cheek, I went to go wipe it with my sleeve but he resisted "(Y-YN)"

"I-I hurt you..." He sounded hurt and upset his hand turned to a fist and stormed out

"No wait come back!" I ran after him only to be stopped by Josh

"Bad idea Xander" Josh said pulling me back

My body trying to break out of Josh's grip "He needs me!! He needs me" I cried reaching my hand out hoping (Y/N) would here my cries...

Josh wanted to let me go I could feel his arms slowing loosing but it wasn't enough for me to make my escape

My body grew tired from trying I laid their like a rag doll in Josh's arms panting and feeling tired with the last breath I could let out everything fell to black I feel asleep in Josh's arms with tears still rolling down my face.
