"Come on, Valerie! You can do it!" Adrien cheers from the doorway whilst most likely continuing the stupid dance he created earlier.

My arms ache from holding up the weight of my bed. Taking long and deep breaths I glance over my shoulder.  Glaring at Adrien I say, "I called you up here to help me not cheer me on."

"Are my words of encouragement not enough for you? Should I dance more?" he asks with his lips twisted into a playful grin.

"Just get your ass in here and help me move this bed," I snap. Chuckling, he walks into the room and stands on the other side of the bed. "Remember to lift with your legs, not your back."

"I know how to lift things, louve." Squatting he positions his hands under the wooden base of the bed.

"You ready?"

"Yes."

"Okay, lift on three. One, two and three."

With one big collective gasp, we lift the bed off the floor holding it up for dear life.

"Now what?" he manages to ask through his pain and discomfort.

"Turn to your left," he starts moving, "No, your other left."

"Isn't there only one left?"

"Just shut up and move this thing before my arms fall off!"

Clasping at the underside of the base and spewing silent prayers for the strength to get this job done we slowly shuffle around the room.

"Are you sure my dancing wasn't helping?"

"Can we please just get this done," I mumble. Rolling my eyes I glance back at him with a smirk. "Besides you're not that good of a dancer."

He lets out the most dramatic gasp I've ever heard come out of a person, and it takes everything in me not to laugh.  "Excuse me I am a delightful dancer."

"You look like a fish trying to wriggle out of a net. You know when they flap and flail like that," I laugh.

He shakes his head but no matter how hard he's trying to hide it I can see the start of a smile.

"You're a terrible person."

"And you're moving awfully slow can you speed up a bit I want to put this bed down before my arms snap off and become one with the bed."

"I'm moving. I'm moving."

Eventually, we get the bed to my desired spot and carefully set it down.

"Jesus," I groan as I shake my arms out trying to shake away the pain.

"Not that I'm complaining or anything but I think the bed looked good where it was," he mumbled through laboured breaths as he rests against the wall.
