The sun shone brightly through Steve and Natasha's bedroom curtains signalling the arrival of a new day.

Steve woke up with a groan stretching his arms above his head. Looking through squinted eyes he found that his wife was no longer in bed beside him and furrowing his eyebrows he got up from the comforts of his mattress.

Throwing on a pair of boxers he walked out of the bedroom and into the kitchen where he found Natasha propped up against the counter with her cellphone in her hands.

Smiling he walked over to his wife placing a gentle peck to her lips before grabbing a coffee mug from the cupboard above her.

"Morning sweetheart." He greeted with a smile pouring himself a cup of coffee

Natasha looked up at him and gave him a curt nod of recognition along with a smile. Hearing the line click on the other end of the phone Natasha turned her attention back to her call.

"You've reached Matt Murdock with Nelson and Murdock. Sorry I couldn't get to the phone right now, but if you leave your name and number along with a detailed message I'll get back to you as soon as I can."

Natasha let out a small huff and rolled her eyes as she heard the long beep on the other end "Hey Matt, it's Natasha. Um, I got this idea last night and I could really use your help getting it into motion, so, um, whenever you get this please give me a call back." And with that she hung up the phone and sat it on the counter as she heaved a deep sigh

Steve furrowed his eyebrows "who was that?" He questioned sipping on his coffee

Natasha turned back to her husband and smiled lightly "my lawyer friend, um, I was hoping he could help me start the studio." She shrugged grabbing a bottle of water out of the fridge

"I told you I'd help." He said

"I know." She replied with a nod "it's just your busy all the time. I just thought one more person on board wouldn't be a bad thing." She explained with a shrug taking a sip from her water bottle she grabbed earlier

Steve stepped closer to the blonde incaseing her in between his arms "I'm never to busy for the woman I love." He told her with a boyish grin

"Are you jealous that I asked another man for help?" She questioned with a raised eyebrow and a smirk

Steve scoffed "of course not." He denied

Natasha chuckled amusedly wrapping her arms around his neck and placing a tender kiss to his lips. Steve wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer to himself and deepening the kiss.

"You have nothing to worry about. I only love you." She smiled as they parted placing a hand against his chest and looking up at him lovingly

Steve smiled "I-"

Before he could go on with his thought the sound of the doorbell ringing caught the couples attention. The pair looked at each other, both with furrowed eyebrows.

"Are you expecting someone?" Natasha asked the blond

Steve shook his head "no. Are you?"

Natasha shook her head in reply. With his eyebrows still furrowed Steve walked to the front door opening it only to find his mother behind the door with a bright smile on her face and bags in her hands.

"Mom? What are you doing here?" He questioned "not that you're not welcome, it's just it's early and you normally at lunch with the girls." He added

Sarah simply smiled walking past her son and into the mansion. Steve took a deep breath as he shut the front door and followed behind the older woman.
