 Nobody's POV

The rest of the journey went with a few small talks.

At long last, the train stopped at Hogsmead station, and there was a great scramble to get out; Owls hooted, cats miaowed, toads croaked, and the Alerion that Hermione named Amara after her mother, squeaked in delight of finally being able to spread her wings. Opal hissed relaxingly in satisfaction of finally getting off, in her opinion, the horrid train. It was freezing on the platform. Heavy rain was pouring down in iced sheets, making everybody freeze.

"FIRS' YEARS, THIS WAY!" Called a familiar voice. The group turned around and saw the gigantic outline of Hagrid at the other end of the platform, beckoning the terrified-looking new students forward for the traditional boat ride to the castle they called home.

"Alrigh' yer six?" He asked waving.

They all gave an 'okay' sign at that, not knowing if he caught that or not.

Someone nudged past Ron, who nearly topple over from the harsh movement.

"You should look where your going Weasle, or you'll need glasses like Potty does..." Malfoy sneered, breaking off when he looked around. Presumably for Harry. The Harry with glasses and messy hair.

"Where's the boy-who-refused-to-die?" He asked in a half sneer.

"Right here Malfoy. I'm surprised you haven't got used your non-existent brain cells yet," Harry said from his spot next to Neville, leaning against him in a cool way. At least tried to be cool. But he doesn't need to know that.

"Is that...Potter?!" Shrieked Parkinson in a hushed whisper.

"Well noted," Harry replied dryly. "And please refrain from pointing and screeching, it's not pleasant if a member of an ancient and noble house to yell and point, it'll make you seem like a disgrace.Good day."

Ron frowned at what Harry had said. 'Since when did my best mate get so mature?'

And before Ron got the chance to go and ask the three, Professor McGonagall came strolling in.

"Mr Potter and Miss Granger, may you please follow me to my office. I have something I want to talk to both about," McGonagall said, appearing from behind the huge doors of Hogwarts.

They both nodded in sync, although uncertainty was very much clear expression etched upon their faces. They followed after McGonagall, who abruptly started walking, the three of them walking in comfortable silence to the Transfiguration teachers personal office.

Upon arriving Professor McGonagall offered a seat to both of them, expecting a good and possibly long conversation.

Oh boy.

"Miss Granger, you are here to sort out your time-table and Mr Potter...is it true you cast an Patronus?"

"Yes... although I wouldn't say it was an proper Patronus, just something enough to drive the dementors away. Is it alright if I leave now?" Salazar asked in a polite tone, one which he would use with talking with teachers. Most time it helped him get what he needed, and right now, he was wanting some peace.

McGonagall simply nodded and let him go out before turning to Rowena.

Harry waited outside for god knows how long. A while later, Hermione came out with a gold chain which had a hour glass imbibed on the front of the gold jewellery.

"A time turner?" Harry said bored. Couldn't they come up with something much more exciting?

"A time turner indeed. Don't get your hopes up Salazar, you aren't using it," Rowena said with an exasperated sigh of amusement, as Salazar pouted. Something you don't see every day. Hermione couldn't hold it at all and broke down laughing.
