Chapter 8 - That's it?!

It's been two weeks and Jenna hasn't heard one thing from Ashley since they kissed.

She sent out a couple texts already, but each have been left on delivered. When she tried to call, it was declined.

"What the fuck?" Jenna groaned.

Her phone suddenly rang and she jumped to see who was calling, a little disappointed it was only Mikayla.

"Hey, B" Jenna said, answering.

"Heyyy! Can I come over?" Mikayla asked.

"Sure" Jenna smiled, missing her best friend.

"Great because I'm walking up to the front door now" Miki laughed.

Jenna just rolled her eyes as she heard the doorbell ring.

"Why'd you ring the doorbell, stupid. You have a key" Jenna chuckled.

"Sometimes I wake up being polite" Miki laughed as Jenna heard rustling.

Then, the call disconnected as Jenna heard footsteps approaching.

"In here" Jenna shouted out from the living room.

"Whatcha doing?" Miki said as she entered the room.

"Literally nothing" Jenna said boredly.

"Let's go to a party!!" Miki exclaimed.

"Who's party?" Jenna asked.

"Claudia's having a birthday party tonight" Miki shrugged.

"Okay, come help me choose an outfit then" Jenna said pulling Miki up the stairs.

"So, anything new?" Miki asked, searching Jenna's closet.

"Jamie and I have been texting a lot again" Jenna shrugged.

"Reaaally?! How's that going?" Miki exclaimed, wanting to know the tea.

"I can tell she still wants me, but I've been enjoying the single life lately" Jenna said nonchalantly.

"She's in her hoe phase" Miki joked.

Jenna kicked her gently, "shut uppp"

"You're still young, I think it's okay to date around and see what you prefer" Miki shrugged.

"How's you and the MILF?" Miki added on.

"Brooo, she's not a mom" Jenna said rolling her eyes.

"You don't know! That lady sounds like she got some secrets" Miki pointed out.

"She told me she wasn't" Jenna said quietly.

"I'm sorry, when did she tell you this?" Miki said turning around.

Jenna sighed loudly.

"Oh hell no, I need to sit for this one" Miki said excitedly, joining Jenna on the bed.

"We went out for drinks the day after my birthday.." Jenna said simply.

"That's it?!" Miki said eagerly.

"What makes you think there's more to it?" Jenna chuckled.

"The loud sigh that you gave" Miki said pointing her eyes at Jenna.

Jenna stared back and it turned into a staring contest.

Mimi's eyes started watering so she blew air straight into Jenna's face causing her to blink.

"HA! Now tell me" Miki said smugly.

"You cheated" Jenna pouted.

"You still blinked first so spill" Miki said crossing her arms, waiting.
