I post my art here (and a drabble or two every now and again), when I don't feel like or have the motivation to write.
Heya! As the title suggests, I'm gonna be giving my thoughts on the design of Gamera throughout the heisei Gamera trilogy- the trilogy is really really good, I recommend it if you're a fan of monsters and don't mind reading subtitles, cause to my knowledge, I don't think and English dub of the trilogy exists...
Anyway- on with the ranking! Yyaaayyy!
First up, Gamera: Guardian of the Universe.

Gamera's design in Guardian of the Universe is pretty good. He's just been woken up and released from the ancient seal that protected him, so it makes sense that he looks... soft so to say. He's capable of fighting, it's just that his skin is easy to cut into and damage. He looks really friendly. 8/10
Alright, next up is Gamera 2: Attack of Legion

Gamera's design in this movie would have to be my personal favorite since it seems to be a decent balance between friendly looking and intimidating- he looks like a fierce protector! Which is awesome! 10/10
The last one of the trilogy, Gamera 3: Revenge Of Iris.

Gamera's design in Revenge Of Iris is... very sharp and makes him look intimidating, almost like a villain- which makes sense given the context that Gamera's connection to humanity is mostly broken by the 3rd movie. I'm not a huge fan of the design, since it makes him look a bit too intimidating... but I get why someone would like it.
