Finally, his old job was done. However, the most important problem in his life was still unresolved. Jungkook looked at the box on his desk. Inside was his mother's ring that was sent to him in the mail. He really didn't know how he should receive the ring.

Jungkook was about to meet Lisa once his business with Director Oh was over, but something stopped him. The memo left by Lisa.

'You have your family now, so you don't need me anymore. I wish you happiness.'

What exactly did this message mean? She used to say that family was someone who cared for each other and faithfully waited, not someone who was needed or not. Then, why did she consider him family in the first place?

He felt like going to the woman and asking her about this, but Jungkook tried to be patient. He also had some things to think about. And, Lisa... he also had to give her time. If she still said no, Jungkook didn't know what to say.

Jungkook looked at the two rings that lay amongst the pile of documents and several cups of coffee on his desk. A ring with flowers that his father had prepared for his mother. And a ring with his name on it that he had prepared for his woman. Jungkook thought that for Lisa, only Jungkook was important. Therefore, he only engraved his name on the ring, but it seemed that the woman didn't even need Jungkook.

Jungkook looked at the ring on the table then sighed and picked up the pile of documents when the door to his office opened without any knock. So far, no one had dared to open Jungkook's room without knocking first. Jungkook immediately turned his head thinking it was Lisa who entered his office. But it was Lisa's sister who appeared in his office. She looked angrily at Jungkook along with Jason who looked confused.

"Wow, this Ajusshi is really too much. My sister is almost dead and Ajusshi is still busy working."

"What's wrong with Lisa?"

Hee Won's sharp voice seemed to fall on deaf ears. Jungkook raised his eyebrows hearing that Lisa was almost dead, and as if satisfied with Jungkook's reaction, Hee Won's face looked a little calmer.

"You think a woman with a broken heart will be okay?"

"She broke up with me."

Hearing Jungkook's answer, Hee Won looked at Jason in disbelief.

"Is he that stupid? That boss of yours?"

"Maybe."

Obviously, the 'boss' was Jungkook who had been really troubling Jason all week. Therefore, Jason didn't deny it this time. According to Jason, Lisa and Jungkook still didn't realize that they were in love. Although it was nice to see the other side of Jungkook's demeanor, it was sad to see the various problems that befell the two people who could be said to be inexperienced in love matters. If left like this, both of them will surely break down and die just because of their egos.

"Well, actually I've been suspicious since Ajusshi put the ad in that newspaper. Everyone in this world seems to know that my Unnie likes Ajusshi, but why doesn't Ajusshi know that?"

It seemed like there couldn't be anything that everyone in the world knew except Jungkook. If Lalisa Manobal really loved Jeon Jungkook, she shouldn't have just left him. Lisa's feelings for Jungkook were not love, but only sympathy and pity. Something that Jungkook disliked the most. He then shook his head with a cold face.

"What about Chi-chi, Goliath, Romeo? It seems like she loves them too?"

"What kind of unreasonable comparison is that?"

"Your sister is like that. Likes to take anything, anyone, and is considering them family. I don't want to be pitied like that."

"Unnie is a sympathetic person, but she can't be dating those dogs or cats," Hee Won's voice sounded sharper.

Is this person really that stupid? Sympathy. Was it possible for a woman to lose sleep and cry for a man all night just out of sympathy? Hee Won came to see the man because she couldn't stand the sound of her sister's stifled crying at night and her face was always swollen in the morning from crying too much. She frowned at Jungkook's answer.

"Dating? We don't have that kind of relationship."

"Maybe for Ajusshi it's not like that. But, to Unnie, she considered herself to be dating Ajusshi."

Hee Won vented her frustration. Not dating? So, was it only her Unnie who misunderstood all this time?

"Hee Won, you may not know, but we have our own agreement."

"Yes. I really don't know about such things. All I know is that Unnie always takes responsibility for what she does. She doesn't neglect her family."

Hee Won shouted angrily at Jungkook. What does this person know about Unnie, she thought.

"How do you know?"

"Because she is my Unnie."

"That's also one of your family rules?"

"It's more than a family rule because we've experienced it firsthand."

When their parents died, Lisa Unnie was 12 years old. Even though their grandmother was still around, it was Lisa Unnie who was their protector and in charge. At that time, someone suggested that Sung Won be taken to an orphanage and she herself was taken to the home of one of their relatives. However, even though Unnie was also very young and in need of protection, she didn't abandon them and became the fence that protected them.

If there were no younger siblings to burden her, perhaps now her Unnie could live more freely and comfortably. But she still didn't abandon her younger siblings. Hee Won felt no need to explain the trust between them to this man who knew nothing. If this man made her Unnie cry, Hee Won would make him cry blood in his heart. Only then would she be satisfied.

"Can you believe what you're saying?"

"What can I do? Whatever. Just let my Unnie die slowly and Ajusshi die of alcoholism."

Hee Won swore at Jungkook who looked at her suspiciously and left the room. Jungkook sank back into his pile of documents as if nothing had happened. But he then looked at his cell phone which was not moving and sighed.

He pressed the button on his cell phone a few times and again undid his intention. Lisa's caller ringtone, which was actually not changed with the caller ringtone, seemed to be embedded in Jungkook's head. Then, in the end he felt that it might be better if she didn't answer her phone.

"You suck too," Jason criticized him harshly. Jason simply didn't understand why his friend didn't do anything like that. In fact, he himself knew how he felt about her and had even prepared a ring for her.

"I know."

"If you know, hold her back quickly."

Jason leaned his body on the side of the table and warned his friend with an impatient face, while Jungkook just looked at him annoyed.

Actually, even that woman was quite outrageous according to Jungkook. His longing for that woman had now turned into sadness. Jungkook didn't expect that she would leave him that easily. However, his sadness did not seem to be comparable to his longing earlier.

"I don't want to hold her back."

"Then?"

"I'll go look for her. Because this time I'm going to go get her."

Jungkook threw the morning newspaper at Jason and stood up from his chair. Jason, who already knew what was in the newspaper Jungkook threw, laughed softly as he shrugged his shoulders and picked up the newspaper.
