While Anna returned to the school the next day to go and locate the journal, Heidi found herself sleeping her day away. Being immortal was stressful and she decided she wanted a day to herself where she didn't need to think about anything. That, however, was interrupted when Ben decided he wanted to try test if sunlight still hurt him, without a ring, shocked when he received the same results he'd seen the past a million times he'd tried before.
"You have got to stop doing that." Heidi complained as she stretched, pulling all sleep from her body. "Sunlight means burn if no ring." She babied him in a teasing manner, reaching out to mess up his hair.
"I have a date later!" Ben complained, moving to look at himself in the mirror as he tried to fix it.
"You're trying to trick a witch, don't fool yourself." Heidi yawned, dropping down onto the sofa while he glared into her side. "Besides, Anna is madly falling for you right now, don't know why though."
"Rude, I have many good qualities." Ben argued as her brow rose up, motioning for him to name at least one. "Um..."
"Exactly." Heidi announced victoriously while he rolled his eyes.
"Oh, shut up."
