During the time that Anna and Ben had decided to kidnap both Bonnie Bennet and Elena Gilbert, Heidi found herself at the gym. No idea why, but she randomly decided she wanted to get her life sorted over night, which meant working out. She began to regret it an hour later as she left the gym, feeling the exact same as she had felt when she had walked into it.

The perks of being a vampire, nothing changes after you turn.

     Literally.

In her mind, working out would be beneficial for her as well as getting her away from the possible torture she'd undergo at the motel room where they'd got the two girls locked in. Nothing against torturing people to get what she wanted, she just couldn't be bothered breaking a nail after she just got them done. Even worse, she could rip out her extensions and that would be a nightmare.

Speaking of nightmares, Jeremy had called her once she left the gym and she wanted so badly to ignore it but she found herself pressing accept. He explained how he wanted to speak to her and she once again cursed Anna before politely accepting his request, wondering how she could force herself out of it. Maybe she could lie to him and say she got the plague, unable to leave her house like ever.

So, that's how she ended up walking down the town square of Beacon Hills, angrily mumbling to herself as she hugged her jacket to herself. When she found the boy, he happily smiled at her and she found herself unable to reciprocate it, wishing nothing more than to be anywhere else.
