A week had passed and Heidi angrily stood in the Lockwood household, glaring into her champagne glass. She'd been forced to attend the Miss Mystic Falls ceremony with Anna and she'd debated just making a run from it, wishing she could be anywhere else. There was a possibility she'd run into Jeremy and considering the last way they left it, it would be a pretty awkward encounter. One in which she'd rather not experience sober at least.

Grabbing her friend's hand, she forced her to jokingly dance with her, the two giggling madly as they incorrectly waltzed to a song playing. It was the most childish they'd been able to act and they enjoyed every second of normality. Their hair madly spun with them as they turned their waltz into a random spinning competition. Mad grins painted their faces as they intertwined their hands, pulling closer to one another and then stepping backwards in a way to mock the Miss Mystic Falls dance.

"You've got an admirer." Anna teased, motioning with her eyes to where he stood, unable to take his eyes off her.

"Shoot me now." Heidi joked, spinning her friend around with the grip she held over her hands.

Across the venue, Jeremy noticed the two and sent the girl a small smile. She didn't reciprocate it, instead pulling away from Anna and their silly dance, opting for returning inside. Anna quickly followed her friend and together they busied themselves in a corner, hoping he wouldn't be stupid enough to follow them. Beside Jeremy, John Gilbert had raised a brow at the interaction, immediately asking who the girl was. With a brief explanation, Jeremy excused himself and went to see where the girl had ran off to.
