Alessia's POV I sighed as I sipped on my tea. I was bundled up on the front porch watching the snow fall to the ground.
My thoughts drifted to T'Challa for probably the hundredth time since Loki and I started our vacation. It's only been a week since I last saw him. I would hack Wakanda's network, but Loki confiscated all the technology when we arrived.
I'm snapped out of my thoughts when I hear the door open. I look up to see Loki, in her female form.

"Nice robe" I commented making her smirk as she sat next to me "Thank you, darling. I'd say something about your clothes, but as of late your style has become dull and monochrome. What happened to my living rainbow aesthetic best friend?" I shrugged and sipped on my tea as I turned back to watch the snow.
I felt Loki's eyes on me and she said "You know...I could always teleport us for a quick visit to Wakanda" I look at her and said "You know that if you do that you'd be violating your probation and sent back to Asgard" she shrugs and says "It would be worth it" I frowned and said "Losing my best friend isn't worth it."
She chuckled and pecks my cheek "Fine, but come inside soon. You'll catch a cold and miss Sandra Bullock" I felt my lips twitch and after a moment I followed her inside to watch the Sandra Bullock marathon she had planned.

~~~timeskip~~~ After two weeks, Loki and I returned to New York. As soon as we arrived we were dragged to Fury's office for an assignment.
I found this odd because he usually emails me and I tell Loki about it. We've never had a meeting involving an assignment before.
As soon as we entered the office and sat down Fury got straight to the point as usual but I was surprised when he said "You're going to Wakanda next week for a half way check up on Barnes's progress" I couldn't help the way my face lit up in excitement.
I almost missed the looks Loki and Fury exchanged.
"Well, then Director we'll start packing" Loki said and we walked out. I was practically vibrating in excitement and chattering away about clothes and Wakanda while Loki just smiled happily and offered his piece.
