"WILL, WILL" was what the whole Bull Pen heard one Wednesday afternoon
"WILL, ANSWER ME" was repeated five more tikes before a tear stricken Jay Halstead ran out of the break room
"Woah, where's the fire little one" Adam laughed
"I was speaking to Will and a bang went off and now he wont answer me, you gotta call him Adam, we gotta know what happened" Jay rushed out, trying to wipe his eyes but the tears kept coming
"Breath little one, I'll phone him" Adam soothed, bringing Jays crying form into his warm one
"He's gotta be alright, he's all the family I have left" Jay cried
Everyone stood in silence as Adams phone rang and rang, but nobody answered on the other side, making the smaller man break down even more at this. Their silence was soon interrupted by Trudy coming running up the stairs, a horrified look on her face.
"There's been a bombing at Med, Jay I don't know how to say this but Will, he didn't make it" the desk sergeant announced
"No, you're lying, don't lie to me, he's fine, Adam is calling him" Jay freaked, hands going to his hair as he started freaking out even more
"Woah, woah, hey baby, come on, breath for me, breath for me" Kevin soothed, bringing his and Adams boyfriend into his arms, the small Omega shaking and screaming out how Trudy was lying
"Let's go then, we need to see for ourselves, and help in any way possible" Hank announced, eyeing Jay as the man continued to cry into one of his Alphas shirts
"He can't be dead, please Kev, Adam please" Jay cried, looking at his Alphas for reassurance
"Let's go to Med and see, I can't get ahold of him, maybe his phone is just broken" Adam said, but deep down he knew, Will was not going to be there alive
"I want my brother" Jay cried, his hands tight on Kevins shirt
"Come on little one, let's get going, I'm sure he is fine" Kevin lied, eyeing Adam who shook his head
As Kevin started to move, Jay gripped the shirt he was wearing tighter, and so the bigger Aloha quickly picked his Omega mate up and allowed him to hide himself in his neck.
The crying didn't stop, but did settle slightly as he was surround by the smell of both his Alphas, Adam had taken Kevins hand and the three of them made their way down to the car thay they shared.
Even when in the car, the smaller man wouldn't let go of Kevin, whimpering when Adam tried to shift him on the passenger seat explaining he needed to be safe.
"Jay, baby, it isn't safe for me ti drive if you're sitting on Kevins lap, I promise we will be right beside you" Adam soothed
"No, No, please Adam, please" Jay cried, hiding in Kevins chest
"Baby, Adam is right, I promise as soon as we are parked at the hospital, I'll pick you up again" Kevin pleaded
"Adam, I'll drive you guys, let him sit with you both in the back" a rough voice intervened, turbing round Adam saw Hank who had a soft smile on his face
"Ok, come on baby, you can stay with Kevin" Adam sighed, helping Kevin out of the truck and into the back, strapping the seat belt over both men
"I'm sorry Adam" Jay whispered, reaching for Adams hand, bringing it close to his chest
"Don't apologise little one, you're upset and I should have just left you be" Adam replied, kissing Jays head softly as Hank started the drive to Med
As they arrived, Kevin felt Jay tense up, eyes filling with tears again as he took in the mess that was his brothers work place. There was people everywhere, in all forms of hurt, but also doctors milling about helping those wbo were hurt.
Nobody could see Will, but Hanks eyes landed on his Omega mate, Connor Rhodes. The man looked utterly devastated, and as soon as his eyes landed on Jay who was once again crying into Kevins arms, he broke.
"Jay, I'm so sorry, Will, he, he didn't make it" Connor rushed out, collapsing in Hanks arms as he also cried
"No, No, please, you're lying, he's gotta be here, WILL" Jay shouted, wriggling free from Kevins arms
The four older men, watched with tight hearts as the smallest member ran around, yelling for his brother, crying out for him, breathing hard as he soon realised that his brother wasn't here.
Looking back at bis Alphas, Jay just sat on the floor anf cried. Harsh breaths leaving his mouth as he struggled to calm himself down, he wanted his older brother, he always knew what to do when Jay was panicking.
The three Alphas and Onega ran over to Jays small body, and Hank scooped his adopted son up in his arms, tight grip all the while whispering sweet nothings in to the mans ears.
"I want Will, please dad, please" Jay repeated, over and over again
"I know baby, and I wish I could get him fir you, but he's gone, but he's always gonna be watching over you, always" Hank cried alongside his son
Adam and Kevin soon joined the father and som duo, bringing Connor with them, and together the five of them wept over the loss of the youngest Halsteads older brother.
The crying soon tired Jay out, and soft sniffles could be heard along with little snores as the Omega finally fell asleep after an extremely stressful day.
He had shifted back over to his Alohas, and was currently hidden in Adams neck while gripping Kevins jacket tightly, the smell of his Alphas the only thing grounding him.
