Jay was currently packing a bag ready for the montly team sleepover; tonight it was being held at Adams house. The man was quite nervous at the thought of sleeping at someone else's house as in the last two weeks he had been having issues of wetting the bed.
The young detective had issues with anxiety, and had always had issues with having a weak bladder, he usually wore pull ups when he slept but because he had gone such a long time with no issues he had stopped wearing them.
Then a case went wrong and it threw him back to having issues again; he didn't want to cancel the sleepover as he really enjoyed spending time with Adam and his husband Mouse, Kevin and Antonio. He snuck in a couple of pull ups at the bottom of the bag but hoped he wouldn't need to use them.
Once he was ready, the 22 year old wondered down to his truck and started the drive to Adam and Mouses shared house. Parking next to Kevin, it looked like he was the last to arrive, and a warm rush if excitement ran through his body as he got out of the car.
"Ahh here he is" Mouse yelled as he saw the youngest member walk through the door
"Hi" Jay mumbled, smiling shyly as Mouse brought him in for a hug
"Everyone is in the living room" Mouse smiled, pushing the youngest into the room
Jay smiled, placing his bag by the bed that was clearly going to be his. Mouse had settled back on Adam's lap, Antonio was sat on the single so Jay settled for sitting next to Kevin, who brought him in for a hug as they started up the movie night.
Kevin could feel Jay's body getting heavy against his side, and so the older man repositioned the smaller body so he was cuddled into his lap. The older men turned the TV down slightly so that they wouldn't disturb the sleeping Detective.
"He's so peaceful when he sleeps" Kevin muttered, running his hands through Jay's hair
"Hank mentioned that he hasn't been sleeping that great" Mouse sighed
"Since that case the other month, it really shook him up quite badly" Adam continued, pressing a gentle kiss on Mouse's neck
"We just need to be patient with him, we're all he has family wise" Antonio said quietly
The four men sat watching Jay sleep, soft snores leaving his mouth as he laid against Kevin. Soon everyone was asleep, nobody bothered about getting changed or moving to the mattresses that Adam had set out.
It was around 1am when the older four awoke to small whimpers coming from the youngest in the room. His face was caught in a scared look, and small tears rolling down his face, he was in a nightmare.
Kevin had then noticed the wet feeling on his lap, and looking down he realised that Jay had clearly had an accident. Not wanting to wake Jay just yet, he motioned for Adam to get the bag that the younger man had brought with him.
"See if there's anything in there, like a nappy or something, he's had an accident" Kevin whispered, sitting up but keeping a close grip on Jays small body
"Yea I have a nappy, wet wipes and a dummy" Adam called out quietly
"We need to wake him up, but do it softly, don't need to scare him" Antonio said quietly
Kevin nodded, and softly rubbed Jays back, the smaller man was still whimpering, his body shaking in what the older man could only think was because of fear. Jay woke with a start, feeling the wetness between his legs, and the realisation that he wasn't at home.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" he cried loudly, trying to get off of Kevins lap
"Buddy, shush, it's ok, I'm not mad" Kevin shushed, tightening his grip on Jays squirming body
"But I had an accident, and now you're going to hate me" Jay cried, eyes frantic with fear
"I could never hate you buddy, please let me clean you up" Kevin softly soothed, motioning for the others to leave the room
"You promise?" Jay cried, hands rubbing his eyes tiredly
"I promise" Kevin soothed, gently laying Jay on the carpet and pulling down the soiled jeans followed by his boxers
Jay continued to cry softly, he was filled with embarrassment, he thought that he would be safe and not have an accident. He reached for Kevins hands as the older man went to clean his thighs and private area, shaking his head while sobbing.
"Jay, I need to clean you, you're going to get a rash otherwise" Kevin said softly, pressing a gentle kiss to Jays smaller hands
"Embarrassed Kev" Jay mumbled, sniffling tiredly but letting Kevin continue
"No need buddy, I'm not going to judge you"
Kevin soothed, smiling softly
Kevin finished wiping Jay down, grabbing a nappy from out of his bag, tapping Jay's hips to get the man to lift them up, and placing the nappy down beneath him. The younger man yawned as Kevin tapped the nappy up, rubbing his eyes tiredly.
Grabbing the black sweatpants that were also in the bag, Kevin helped Jay slip into them. The older man then stripped himself out of his own wet trousers and underwear, grabbing yhe navy sweatpants he had packed and slipping them on.
By this point, the three other men had wandered back into the room, soft smiles at seeing how relaxed Jay was now. They all sat quietly on the sofa, watching as Kevin lifted Jay back into his arms.
"I'm tired Kev" Jay mumbled, curling into Kevin
"I know baby, come on, let's go back to sleep" Kevin mumbled, picking up the blanket that was folded on the sofa, wrapping it round Jays smaller body as he sat back down on the sofa
"Love you Kev" Jay muttered, shifting around slightly before settlign with his head on Kevins shoulder, hands clutching Kevins shirt tightly
"Love you too buddy" Kevin whispered back, patting Jays back gently to soothe him to sleep
