16 year old Jay Halstead was terrified.
He had been kidnapped a month ago and nobody had found him.
He had been beaten.
He had been burnt.
He had been screamed at.
He had been raped.
All he wanted was his mama, his brother Will and his grandpa Hank.
His whole body trembled with fear.
Pain was everywhere.
At the current time, he was curled up in the corner of the room, trying to stay warm but with only a pair of boxers on it was not working out for the small boy. He was freezing cold, and all he wanted was to be hugged by his Mama while ran her hands through his hair. Closing his eyes, he sent a prayer to whoever was watching him. He wanted to go home and be safe again.
Unknown to the small 16 year old, the Intelligence Unit and his mum, Trudy Platt were outside and about to burst in through the abandoned house. The loud bang of the door breaking made Jay jump and he curled in even closer to himself.
"CHICAGO PD, hands up where can see them" a loud voice shouted
"Sarge, theres a basement" another female voice said loudly from above Jay
Another bang went off, closer this time and Jay burst into tears, he didn't want to be hurt anymore, his body was already in so much pain from the beatings. He could hear footateps approaching him but refused to open his eyes and look, instead clenching them shut.
"No, no more, I want to go home, I want my mama" Jay shouted, voice hoarse from the amount of screaming he had done
"Jay, it's Grandpa, can I come over to you?" Hank asked the frightened child infront of him
"Grandpa, you found me?" Jay cried, uncurling and opening his eyes, lookinh right at the man
"We've been looking for you this whole time" Hank replied, edging closer to the trembling boy
"Is mama here, I want mama" Jay whimpered out, sitting up slowly
"I'm right here baby boy" a voice spoke, and despite the pain he felt, Jay threw himself at his mama, hugging her tightly
"I was so scared mama, I didn't want to go with them, and they did things to me" Jay cried out, feeling his mama hug him tighter
"I know baby, I know, mana won't let anything else hurt you, you're safe now" Trudy soothed, standing up and carrying her son out to where the paramedics were waiting
