Sitting next to him..

Author's POV

„I think the bobble hat would look cute on you! Take it with you to the trip!" Taki comments as he snatched it from her bed. Y/n turned around to him and he immediately put it on her head.

„It really does look cute on you! Go and look at yourself in the mirror." Y/n smiled which led her to a tiny chuckle. „Fine fine I will."

She walked up to the mirror and looked at the bobble hat she was wearing. „And?" He asked her with crossed arms. „I don't know.."

Taki rolled his eyes and snatched the bobble hat off her head and put it in her suitcase. „You're going to wear it, if you want to or not. I want you to wear it during our trip, please do that for me."

She sighed in defeat and nod along. „Fine but just because it's you." He smiled brightly and gave her a quick hug. „Thank you!"

Eunchae greeted Taki, Daniel and Y/n with a handshake, like every teenager would do. They are finally about to ride the bus to the ice bergs.

„And are you all prepared?" Daniel asked them hyped. Taki nod and made his thumbs up. „Me and Y/n prepared everything yesterday together, so we're fine. How about you Eunchae?"

She nod with a smile on her face. „I've got everything too, we should put our suitcases inside. I'll see you later!" They bid their goodbyes and Eunchae went to the bus, her class was driving with.

Y/n looked around, looking for a certain someone. Ni-ki wasn't in sight and she looked a little disappointed. The two boys who watched her silently noticed it.

Some minutes passed and he wasn't there, Y/n and the two boys already went into the bus. Unfortunately there were always two seats next to each other so Taki sat alone.

Every seat was now taken except for the one beside Taki. Lucky for him he got it all for himself, now he can put his bag next to him or he could sleep peacefully.

„Did anyone saw Ni-ki this morning?" The teacher asked the students while holding the attendance list. The students were silent and with that the teacher understood that he wasn't here yet.

Y/n already put her Airpods on and started her music, expecting to drive off soon.

„Wait!" a voice was heard when the engine was about to start. It's Ni-ki and Daniel sat immediately next to Taki.

He looked over to Y/n who was looking at her phone at that moment and then to Taki, sighing in relief. Taki nod to him, saying he did a good job.

„Why are you late Nishimura?" Ni-ki bowed and straightened himself up. „I'm sorry but I overslept."

The teacher waved his hands, gesturing him to take a seat. Ni-ki turned himself to the seats and started to walk. Seems like every seat was taken until he reached to the back, where he saw one seat. Which was empty.

He looked to the person who would sit next to him for the next 5 hours and he froze for a moment. „So I have to sit next to her?"

Y/n put her phone away and wanted to check up after Daniel but she only saw the seat empty. And she saw from her eyes angle that there was standing a person.

When she looked up, Ni-ki already took the seat before he could see her reaction. The music didn't stop and her nervousness showed up, and she immediately looked out of the window.

„Why is he here, and not Daniel? What the hell?" Y/n got frustrated but she tried to play it cool, trying not to show her pink flushed cheeks.
