I left the apartment and saw him. Charles's eyes flashed. I knew he was very angry and ready to explode, but I hoped he would wait until we got to the street.

- Do you really want to move here? To this small apartment? You are so so crazy!! - he said nervously

- I think it's cute, average people live in these - I remarked

- That was a pretty lame argument. You should know that I have given you everything, you don't have to do this

- At least try to support it a little, or at least act like it

- Rather death! I know you want to leave me again!

- I never want to leave you, Charles! I'm doing this just for you, so you don't have to fight with your family because of me. That would be best - I stepped closer to him and caressed his face, but he turned away

- You're crazy - he turned his back on me and walked away. His behavior was bad and I got tired of telling my truth. I followed him to the car without saying a word, he was much faster. He behaved like a little child and I really didn't like that.

- Now what's next? - he asked sullenly

- There is no next one, and I will go alone tomorrow

- So now you're offended! - he declared

- No, not exactly, you're just behaving badly and thats the problem!

The boy didn't answer this anymore. We got into the car and headed back to the apartment. By the time we got home, the situation had gotten worse. Charles slammed the door behind him and went into his game room. And I was left alone with my thoughts in the living room. I tried not to cry, but I couldn't resist. My eyes watered and I sniffed quietly so that Charles wouldn't overhear. I hope you will understand my decision one day. After all, I risk everything for him.

I almost ran so I wouldn't be late for college again. My first class was finance. With difficulty, I managed to sit down on the last free seat. I could barely concentrate. I ran into Marco after class. He was the only one I really didn't want to see again.

- Hi, hello - said Marco but he seemed a bit resentful of me

- Hello - I said and felt so bad that this was going to be an awkward conversation

- I wrote you a couple of times - he said. I knew he was going to say that, but because of Charles, I didn't even think to answer him. The boy is no longer important to me, never was.

-Sorry, I've been busy lately - I said

- I can imagine. We will meet the others in the evening. Come with us if you want -  I nodded and couldn't wait for this conversation to finally end

- Write the address - I said

- Alright, we'll wait then -  he said and stepped away from me, and I let out a breath. Why does everything have to be so complicated? I hurt Charles, and I hurt Marc. Who's next?

After the rest of my lesson, I looked for a taxi and went to look at another apartment, and since Charles didn't want to accompany me, I didn't push the matter any further. I can solve all this on my own. It was only 10 minutes by taxi from the university. The apartment building was not large, only 4 floors, so it could not fit many apartments. The real estate lady was already waiting for me in front of the entrance.

- Good afternoon! - I  said hello, and the woman smiled amiably

- Are you going to live alone? - she asked as we started up the stairs to the second floor

- Yepp - I nodded

- This will be it - she pointed to door number 5. It was a slightly older entrance door painted brown. Then I entered the door and I didn't like the sight at all. The house was a bit older, not at all like yesterday. It was very, very small. I was saddened

- Unfortunately, there is no other apartment at this price -  said the lady as she could see that I was very disappointed

- Of course it's understandable -  I said and tears started to appear in my eyes. I was disappointed. Then I am mad at the whole world. I decided to walk back to Charles' home to calm down a bit. I hoped that the boy wasn't as angry as yesterday or this morning, but you could never know that in advance. I was hoping for the best...
I got back to Charles' apartment in almost 1 hour.

- I'm here -  I said when I entered the door. Lando Norris was sitting at the kitchen counter and Charles was bringing him something from the living room.

- Ellie! I've seen you for a long time!  -  laughed Norris

- What are you doing? - I inquired

- We're going to do something on Twitch and I'm trying to explain to your boyfriend what he shouldn't do in live - explained Lando

- Very cool - I said, glancing at Charles

- Where have you been? - he looked at me angrily

- How long have you been playing this now?

- Did you look at apartments again? - the boy rolled his eyes

- Yes - I said, and Charles sighed and a few seconds later turned around and pretended I wasn't even there. And Lando sat between us confused and didn't know what to do. He couldn't say anything, he just looked at me and then at his friend.

- Of course, just treat me that way, it's the easiest!  - I grumbled

- I don't even know who's doing the trouble?! - he turned around and his eyes flashed fire

- Charles, I told you once! I'm doing this for you, so that your mom will forgive me -  I said, then I didn't wait for his answer so I turned and went to my room.
