Kiyohime and Valiana glared daggers at Satria, their gazes demanding an explanation.
"Ara-ara~ So, you're the one Satria-kun fears so much?" Kurumi Tokisaki chimed in with a mischievous smile, her crimson and golden eyes gleaming with amusement. "My name is Kurumi Tokisaki, one of his friends from the Dimensional Chat. And let me make one thing clear—I’m very interested in this puppy." She grabbed onto Satria's arm possessively. "He told me to ask your permission before we take things further."
“Don’t call me that nickname!” Satria groaned, his face flushing red. “And I never said that! Stop getting close to me—we’re not a thing!” His desperate attempt to wiggle free only added fuel to the fire.
Valiana’s sharp gaze narrowed as she sniffed the air. “What are you? You smell... strange. Are you some kind of mixed-breed vampire?” she asked, her curiosity tinged with suspicion. Clearly, this woman was not from their world.
Kurumi chuckled lightly. “Oh, Valiana-san, I’m a Half-Vampire and Half-Spirit. But my original race is Spirit. I got this Vampire blood from a reward in the Dimensional Chat. Does that satisfy your curiosity?” she said, her tone both playful and confident.
Valiana blinked. “Spirit? You mean like the Celestial Spirits of Gaia, the Earth Mother? Hidden beings who live in peace and harmony?” Albion’s voice rumbled, intrigued. Despite his interest, something about Kurumi set him on edge. The faint scent of blood lingered around her.
Satria waves his hand. “Not quite. The Spirits in her world are extraordinary beings from another dimension. Their presence in her world—whether intentional or accidental—causes Spacequakes. Think of them as devastating explosions that destroy everything within their radius. Each Spirit is unique in personality, power, and perspective.”
“I see…” Albion mused.
Valiana smirked, crossing her arms. “You strong, then? I don’t accept weaklings joining my hubby’s family. So… fight me first, Kurumi!”
Before Kurumi could respond, Valiana’s cheeks were swiftly pinched by Kiyohime.
“Ow, ow, ow! Kiyohime-san, stop! It hurts!” Valiana whined, squirming under the grip.
Kurumi raised a brow, her expression amused. “Is she always like this?”
“Pretty much,” Satria deadpanned. “Valiana’s a battle maniac and kind of edgy, but deep down, she’s just a spoiled girl.”
Valiana puffed her cheeks in indignation, but Kiyohime’s stern gaze kept her quiet.
“No fighting inside the house,” Kiyohime declared firmly before turning to Kurumi. “Now then, what makes you so interested in my husband?”
"Husband? Wow! I didn't expect that," Kurumi remarked, tilting her head in surprise. She turned toward Satria and tapped her chin, deep in thought. "What makes me interested in him, you ask?"
She paused, then began listing her reasons with a playful yet serious tone. "He’s not boring, which is rare these days. He’s someone who can help me fulfill my wish. He’s got self-confidence—though sometimes it borders on narcissism. He loves and cares for his family, is financially secure, and, most importantly…" She leaned closer with a mischievous smile. "He’s handsome and absolutely adorable, just like a puppy."
“Adorable your head! Don’t call me a puppy!” Satria snapped, his face burning with embarrassment.
“Danna-sama, behave,” Kiyohime chided, her gaze sharp and unyielding.
“…Sorry,” Satria grumbled, crossing his arms as he sulked.
Kurumi chuckled softly and reached out to pat his head. “Don’t be too harsh on him, Kiyohime-san. Satria’s a good boy, aren’t you?” Her tone was teasing but gentle.
