Black Flash stood atop the shattered ruins of the battlefield, his piercing gaze locked onto his prey. Around him, the once-mighty leaders of the Biblical Faction lay broken, bloodied, and defeated. The air was thick with dust and the metallic scent of blood-a testament to the sheer devastation that had just unfolded.
A low chuckle echoed from behind his mask as he stretched his arms, the gesture dripping with arrogance.
"Are you guys done already? Boring~ If this is the best you have to offer, conquering this world will be easier than I thought."
Serafall Leviathan, the once-proud Demon Lord, struggled to her feet, every movement laced with pain. Her demon armor, once pristine, was now cracked and stained with her own blood. Her breath came in ragged gasps, but despite the overwhelming pain, she refused to bow.
"This... isn't over, Black Flash!" she spat, her voice filled with defiance, yet laced with exhaustion. "If this is all you've got, don't think you can conquer the world so easily!"
Black Flash smirked beneath his mask, crossing his arms lazily. The sheer amusement in his voice was maddening.
"How sad~ Who said I was even trying?" He tilted his head mockingly. "Magic was never my forte, yet look at you, Devil. I'd say... I'm using about 7% of my power. No, no... maybe 5% at best?" He let out a dramatic sigh. "You guys are strong, I'll admit that... but only by this world's standards. Not mine."
His words cut deep. Serafall's fists clenched, her nails digging into her palms, but her body was too battered to strike back. No one had ever humiliated her like this.
A few meters away, Sirzechs Lucifer forced himself upright, a weak but determined aura of Destruction swirling around him. His crimson eyes burned with resolve as he steadied himself to defend his comrades.
"You won't get away with this," he growled. "You are a threat to this world, and no matter the cost-we will eradicate you!"
Black Flash let out an exaggerated yawn, before laughing mockingly. "Oh, Womp-Womp~ That's cute. What's this? Barking like a dog as your last resort?" He cocked his head, feigning concern. "Why don't you go call your daddy or mommy to save you? Oh wait... Maybe I should just send a gift to your 'True Leader'? How about a nice, steaming bowl of bat soup, made with Cing-Cong's secret recipe?"
The insult was like a slap to the face.
Sirzechs' aura flared violently, the very ground trembling beneath them. "You... Monster!" he roared, fury overtaking reason.
But Black Flash wasn't done. He clapped his hands mockingly, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "Boohoo~ Are you mad? 'Cause I am! Hah! Come at me, pussy, if you dare!"
His annoying gestures, his taunting smirk-it was all designed to infuriate them. And it worked.
Sirzechs lunged forward in rage-
"Stop!"
A strained voice cut through the chaos.
Michael, the leader of the Angels, was kneeling, his divine energy flickering weakly. He had barely survived Black Flash's devastating attack. Never, since the Great War, had he felt such hopelessness. His golden eyes, usually full of divine certainty, were now clouded with unease.
"Don't fall for his provocation... This man is far more dangerous than any of us imagined."
Black Flash merely smirked.
"Finally, someone who gets it. But too late, Angel-boy. The fun's just getting started."
