It was a time of rejoicing, the PAW Patrol and Adventure Bay was back in action. All the pups had newly configured vehicles, including epic-looking jets, the Lookout was changed permanently to the Mighty Pups variation, and best of all, Chase and Ryder were successfully rehabilitated and were able to get back to rescues. Although Ryder suffered a lot, he was able to make it through Marshall's quick surgery techniques with the doctors at the ER, and was only prescribed robotic parts for the parts of his body that were no longer functional, and it worked just fine.
And Chase was only left with a scar that is visible, but he used it to help remember the story he had just walked through alive. All the children in Adventure Bay wanted to know, and Chase told them heroically. But he did have to leave out the whole violence part, of course. But that wasn't the only cool part though. All the people of Adventure Bay gathered on the day 5 years after the death of the Sith Scarrer to celebrate the PAW Patrol's heroic act. Mayor Goodway went up on stage.
Mayor Goodway: Welcome, citizens of Adventure Bay, to this historic day of heroism. 5 years ago, our favorite team of pups, the PAW Patrol, and Ryder stood up against the dreaded Sith Scarrer.
All of the audience booed at the name.
Mayor Goodway: But if it weren't for them, we all wouldn't be where we are now. And I would like to bring up the person who lead the whole operation. Please welcome to the stage, Ryder!
All the citizens of Adventure Bay clapped as Ryder walked up on stage, wearing a suit. He shook the Mayor's hand, then looked towards the audience. He gripped the podium with both hands, his left hand being robotic.
Ryder: Thank you, Mayor Goodway. And thank you all for your support. As you all may know, the Sith Scarrer was once part of the PAW Patrol, but 5 years ago, he met his end. Can I have all of the members of the PAW Patrol up here on stage?
All of the pups sitting in the audience stood up and walked to the stage, then sat in the seats behind the podium. They were all wearing suits and dresses for the occasion (which Ryder made them wear).
Ryder: Pups, you all were brave during his reign. And luckily you all put a stop to him, sometimes even without me. And I brought you all up here for a reason.
He pulled out something from his pocket.
Ryder: I have some awards to give out to some of you pups.
The pups gasped, their tails began to wag.
Ryder: Firstly, can I have Chase up here?
Chase walked up and stood by Ryder.
Ryder: Chase, for taking leadership for when I was not with you, for your guidance for good and standing up against the Sith Scarrer with such might, I award you this medal of honor.
He placed the golden wreathed medal around Chase's neck, and Chase smiled. Everyone cheered.
All Pups except Chase: Go Chase!
Chase sat back down, smiling with pride.
Ryder: Next up, can I please have Marshall up here?
Marshall gasped happily, then trotted up to Ryder. They looked at each other with a smile.
Ryder: Marshall, for being the best EM anyone could ask for, for saving Chase's and my own life in time of need, I present you this medal of honor.
He placed the red and white wreathed medic medal around Marshall's neck. Everyone clapped.
All Pups except Marshall: Go Marshall!
Marshall sat back down, and looked at his medal, smiling with tears in his eyes.
Ryder: And finally, can I please have Skye up here?
Skye walked up to Ryder, everyone clapped even louder than before.
Skye: Yes, Ryder?
Ryder: Skye, for your adequate bravery, superior leadership in defending our beloved town, for taking down the Sith Scarrer and learning the true meaning of the PAW Patrol, I award you this.
Ryder reached in his other pocket and pulled out the Sith Scarrer's blue lightsaber. Skye couldn't help but shed a tear and hug Ryder. Everyone stood up in applause.
Skye: (through tears) Thank you so much, Ryder.
Ryder: I knew you could do it, Skye.
All the pups ran over to Skye, and cheered for her. Even Ryder was clapping.
Ryder: Go ahead, Skye. It's yours.
Skye ignited the lightsaber, it's blue color glimmering in the Adventure Bay sunset. Suddenly, fireworks erupted in the sky, flashing all colors of the PAW Patrol. Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, Teal and Dark Green shot across the sky and exploded in a rainbow of color. Everyone continued to aplaud the PAW Patrol and their special victory against the Empire...
Late at night, after the ceremony...
Ryder and the pups arrived back to the Lookout, everyone talking about how amazing the awards were. They all walked inside, and began to change out of their formal wear before bed.
Ryder: I'm going to go to bed early tonight. *yawns* See you tomorrow, pups.
All Pups: Good night, Ryder.
Ryder then went up the elevator and disappeared from view.
Rubble, Rocky, Zuma and Marshall all yawned too.
Rubble, Rocky, Zuma and Marshall: Good night, everyone.
Chase and Skye looked at them.
Chase and Skye: Good night, pups.
The four left the Lookout, heading to their pup houses for some long awaited rest. Chase and Skye then looked at each other and smiled.
Chase: Will I see you tomorrow for breakfast, Skye?
Skye: Certainly, Chase.
She blushed, then kissed Chase.
Chase: Well then, good night Skye.
Skye: Good night, Chase.
Chase left the Lookout, leaving Skye alone in the room. She then walked over to the elevator, which had returned from the top floor, then took it down to the basement, where she searched through the storage closets and found it, a picture of her practicing with the Sith Scarrer's lightsaber, the Sith Scarrer himself cheering her on in the picture. Skye couldn't help but cry at the sight.
Skye: I miss you a lot. When you were good, you were so encouraging to me. When did things go so wrong?
She took the picture to the elevator, returned to the first floor of the Lookout, headed to her pup house, then put the picture up on the wall and the lightsaber below it.
Skye: Good night, Sith Scarrer.
She kissed the picture good night, then fell asleep and dreamt of good dreams as the lights went out...
At the top of the Lookout...
Ryder watched as every pup went into their pup house, then turned towards the dim lights of Adventure Bay.
Ryder: What we need is a day off from all of this rescuing.
He thought deeply, then turned to his new and improved Pup Pad, searching up Hollywood Hotels.
Ryder: How about a vacation?
