Day 3
Author's POV
Jaune groaned as he was on the ground again. He and Y/N were training using wooden swords. Y/N was really impressed and surprised, Jaune was becoming a skilled fighter. He did know that Pyrrha was training him but Jaune was also training by himself from time to time.
"Phew... let's take a break." Y/N said as he lays down on the ground breathing heavily with Jaune agreeing
"Man, i almost got you." Jaune said with a laugh
"Yeah you did, i'm really surprised by you." Y/N stated
"Really?" He asked
"Really, i was informed of you personally from Ozpin himself before i took you eight under my wing. He showed me the fights you have against Cardin Winchester in combat class." Y/N said making Jaune winced in embarressment
"But today you were fighting like a true huntsman, a true warrior. Your strength surprised me, you tackled me to the ground with ease. You knew when to strike and when to block. Your speed can use some work and there are times where you can use whats around us to your advantage. If you were fighting like this, anyone would have a difficult time facing you." Y/N added with a warm smile
"I guess i just don't have much confidence in me." Jaune said with a sigh
"How so?" Y/N asked
"My family didn't want me to be a huntsman, when i was young they wouldn't train me. Then you know about my forged transcripts and how i got here. I guess i keep losing because i keep thinking of them." Jaune explained
"I see now... confidence... Well i think i know plenty on how to help you. It's simple, you too focus on the past. Stop worrying about the what if and focus on the now. Also if we comparing combat class to out there, wins and losses don't matter. What matters is self improvement." Y/N stated
"Self improvement..." Jaune said
"Mhm! As long as you keep training and working on your weaknesses and improving on your strengths, you be one of the best!" Y/N encouraged making Jaune think to himself before standing up.
"Thanks Y/N! I really needed that!" He said with a wide smile.
"Anytime. Now go on and hang out with your team." Y/N command with Jaune agreeing.
As Jaune heads out Y/N thinks to himself. To be honest Jaune reminded him of well himself. He sees a bit of himself in Jaune. A person full of surprises and full of potential. He pulls out his scroll before finding a photo showing Team Holomyth, Holocouncil, Enma, Jenma, and J-Chad all together. He sighs to himself as he puts his scroll away before walking up back to the living room.

Y/N was in gear as he and Team JNPR were walking in a grass field. It was a big grass field so Y/N decided to split into two teams. Team RWBY was checking out one section of the field while Y/N and Team JNPR were covering another section. It was actually a much bigger grass field then Y/N thought, meaning more ground to cover, a lot more ground to cover.
"Hey Y/N? Can you remind me what the lieutenant said about the guy we catching?" Nora asked
"His name is Berry Raye. Black hair, brown eyes, about 5'5, 27 Year Old human being. He doesn't have a semblance yet there's something... fishy about his weapon." Y/N said
"Is it his weapon some sort of whip?" Ren asked
"I think so, a whip that can be turned into a sword." Jaune said
