Arthur's POV: *

???: Arthur, wake up

Opening my eyes, I see a familiar face,

Arthur: Riley, what is it?

Riley: it's the commander, he wants your squad to be ready in thirty, he's got a mission for them

Arthur: ok, thanks for letting me know

Riley: any time

Riley then leaves my room, getting up, I tie my boots on and put my shirt on, exit my room I head to the barracks and tell my men to get ready and be in the motor pool in twenty, then I head to the commander,

Arthur: lieutenant Hills reporting sir

Commander: lieutenant, sorry to send you back out so soon after your last mission, but this should be an easy mission, your orders are to assist in the evacuation of civilians from Minsk to Vilnius, the main frontline has reached the Belarusian border

Arthur: understood commander, we'll get those civilians out, what support will we have?

Commander: you'll have what's left of the 237th allied armored company, they've been battered to hell, they have 14 trucks, 2 mobile AA, a Gepard and a 2k22 Tunguska respectively, and 2 T72's and a BTR 80 command vehicle, along with less than 300 men left, we're scraping the barrel, anything we can get we're using

Arthur: understood, how are my squad and I suppose to get to Minsk?

Commander: we have a Westland Lynx read to go

Arthur: understood, we're ready to head out immediately

Commander: then I suggest you leave immediately, we intercepted enemy radio communications about a bombing target, reports say it will involve around fifty bombers, consisting mainly of Tu-95's with support from assorted fighter aircraft, we believe their target is Minsk

Arthur: understood sir, we'll leave right away

Giving a salute, I turn and leave heading for the motor pool, I tell my men are mission, they all understand what's at stake and understand the mission, heading up the ramp, we see the base is awash with activity, since being transferred here since we lost the Middle East, this place hasn't had a calm day since before I got here, and that was half a year ago, hard to believe that this war has been going on for ten long years now,

Boarding the helicopter, the flight is uneventful, apart from the music, and squad banter, Jackson, ever calm and collected, Roy, won't ever shut up, especially when it comes to girls, weather human or fur, Zack, are grenadier, knows more about guns than anyone, his best friend Mike, every the optimistic, along with a great shot, 21 out of 20 shots on experts marksman corse, and Yuri, well what's there to say about him, he's seen the most combat out of all of us, and he's a new addition since Alan died,

*Time skip*

Arriving at Minsk, we file out and meet up with the company commander, Yuri translates for me as the commander doesn't speak English,

Yuri: когда начнется эвакуация? (When do we get the evacuation underway?)

Company Commander: в ближайшее время мы только заканчиваем заправку некоторых машин и перевооружение ПВО, в сообщениях говорится, что у них есть ударные самолеты, обстреливающие дороги, погодные люди или меха (shortly, we're just finishing refueling some of our vehicles and rearming are AA, reports say they have strike aircraft strafing the roads, weather human or fur)
