Part 15, Flight

Arthur's POV:

I keep telling myself that this is the best way to keep everyone safe, but I know that's not true,

Standing here, I look at the museum exhibits while I get a lot of attention from people looking at me, you'd swear that I'm the first human they've seen, I chuckle at my own joke, but people have been staying away from me,

I've been waiting here for about two hours now, but I will wait here until he shows, I know he's most likely setting up a trap for me, but I came with a backup plan just in case,

Kelly's POV:

Sam: where did he go?

Varren: I don't know, he just left!

Sam: well we got to find him, quickly!

Jenny: Kelly, you stay here and wait for us

Kelly: but I...

Jenny: no buts, stay here!

Then she joins the others as they run out to try and find Arthur, oh why must he do this, doesn't he know we're a team, no of course he does, that's why he's doing this, so he can try and keep us all safe,

Oh please come back Arthur, please,

Arthur's POV:

I stop in front of a particular exhibit as I wait, the exhibit's name is "the end of the war" and it depicts two cat Furries placing a flag down, one of them I've seen before and the other I know,

Jasper: so this is where you are, doing a bit of catching up

Turning around, I see the Jackal that interrogated me seven months ago,

Jasper: if I'm not mistaken, your name is Arthur right?

Arthur: yes it is, and yours is?

Jasper: Jasper snow

Arthur: Jasper, interesting name, anyway, have you considered my offer or did you set a trap for me

Jasper: and what makes you think I would betray you?

Arthur: a hunch, if I was talking to your third colleague, then I would trust her, I also trust your other colleague even less than you

Jasper: that I would have to agree with, Harken is a cutthroat and Jennifer was always the sympathetic one

Arthur: so those are their names, but, we didn't come here just to chat

Jasper: no, so what is it you want, what are your terms for this deal?

Arthur: simple, let me live in peace, let my friends go, and I'll give you whatever you're after from me

Jasper: those are some pretty reasonable terms, we stop having to chase after you and we know where you are, and people who are of little consequence or concern for us we don't have to worry about, I would almost like to take you up on that offer, but, why make a deal when we have you right here and surrounded too

Arthur: well that is definitely an option I suppose, not a good one but definitely an option

Jasper: and why's that?

Arthur: because of this

I then swing my fist and uppercut Jasper, hearing a cracking sound in the process, I also feel my strength increase too in the process, I then reach into my jacket and draw my pistol and start shooting,

Harken's POV:
