11: Mega-Mega Meowth Madness!

After staying the night at Meyer's house all five of the kids were walking through Lumiose City.

"Kay, Cyllage City you're up next! Here we come!" Ash said.

"I have an idea!" Serena suddenly announced.

"What is it?" Nina asked, turning around with Togepi in her arms.

"Since we're already here in Lumiose City, why don't we go visit Professor Sycamore, before we leave," the honey-haired girl suggested.

"That's a great idea, Serena," Clemont agreed.

"Also," she said before opening a box of Macarons. "Ta-da! I baked macarons last night!"

"Yummy and pretty too!" Bonnie said.

"There is nothing better than a perfect desert!" Nina said, with sparkles in her eyes.

"Let's share them with the professor," Serena said.

"Yay! Oh, boy, I can hardly wait!" Bonnie laughed. At a far away warehouse Team Rocket were watching a video of Ash and Pikachu falling down Prism Tower. This was until Mega Blaziken came and saved them out of the air.

"Look, what's that?" Jessie questioned.

"Amazing, fascinating! It would seem this is Blaziken's Mega Evolution!" James said.

"Mega Evolution? It looks mega super strong!" Jessie said.

"To refresh our collective memory, our plan is to make Meowth mega evolve and then capture Pikachu," James reassured.

"Yeah, but is that even possible?" Meowth questioned.

"I heard Professor Sycamore is the leading expert of Mega Evolution," James began.

"So all we do is steal his data," Jessie continued.

"And program said data into our detailed database," James finished.

"Dig, now I understand why we brought that monstrosity with us," Meowth said.

"Mega evolution makes the Mega Meowth. Mega Meowth makes the Mega Team Rocket. Mega Team Rocket makes the whole mega world its own,"  James explained

"Run that by me again?" Jessie asked.

"No need, it's mega mania!" James said as the robot's eyes from inside the giant cloth glowed. After trekking through Lumiose City the five protagonists had reached Professor Sycamore's lab.

"So you're all traveling together now, eh? Sounds like a great plan," Sycamore said.

"Thanks," Ash said.

"Professor, here. I baked delicious macarons for everyone," Serena said, opening her small basket.

"Such a sweet treat!" Sycamore said, smelling the desserts.

"How nice! I suggest we have a little tea break with those Macarons," Sophie suggested.

"I still have a little work to do, so I'll have mine a bit later," Augustine said.

"Can we see what you're working on, please?" Nina asked, as Togepi chimed in.

"Of course, make yourselves at home," Professor Sycamore said, before walking away. A little bit later all of them were sitting on a couch as Sophie brought out tea for everyone.

"Everyone, tea is ready," Sophie said, placing down the last cup.

"Alright, everybody, let's dig in!" Serena said before the Macarons suddenly disappeared.

"Hey, where are the Macarons?" Ash asked.

"Where did they go?" Clemont asked as everyone began to look around.
