12: The Bamboozling Forest!

In an all too familiar balloon Team Rocket were using binoculars to spy on the five kids and were targeting Pikachu.

"Targets currently having lunch," James said, eyeing Pikachi, Dedenne, Fletchling, Fennekin, Togepi, Froakie, Bunnelby and both Chespin.

"My, my, don't they look happy," Jessie commented.

"Not after we catch all of them," Meowth said. On the ground the five of the kids were eating lunch. But unbeknownst to them two Pancham were hiding in the bush spying on the kids and their Pokemon. A little further away the Pokemon were suddenly looking around worriedly hearing something around them.

"What's wrong?" Ash asked.

"Shh, I heard something over there," Nina said pointing at a moving bush.

"It sounds like something's moving," Serena said.

"Hope it's a Pokémon," Bonnie smiled before Froakie threw its frubbles and hit something.

"There is something over there!" Ash said, while Bonnie tried hiding behind Nina and Serena. Two Pokemon with frubbles covering their faces stumbled out of the bushes. Back in the balloon Team Rocket were looking at the Pokemon as well.

"What are they?" Meowth asked.

"Never seen those Pokémon before," Jessie said. Before he brought out a device to analyze them

"I believe they're Pancham," he explained. Back on the ground Ash and Bonnie were cleaning both Pancham's faces.

"Sorry to scare you like that," Ash said, while Serena brought out her Pokédex and analyzed Pancham.

"Pancham, the Playful Pokémon. Though it tries to look tough, Pancham has trouble being taken seriously by opponents," her Pokedex said.

"Okay, that should do it," Ash said finishing the cleaning.

"But those Pancham look so different. These two are much cuter!" Serena exclaimed.

"The Pokédex says they do their best to look tough, so I guess they must be their normal face," Clemont assumed.

"So why not just make them cuter in the Pokédex?" Serena asked.

"Because that's a little redundant," Nina said.

"Really? It's just too bad they're being shown like that," Serena said, as the two Pancham ran to the bowls of Pokemon food and their eyes began to sparkle. This startled both of the Chespins.

"Maybe they're asking if the Chespin will share their Pokémon food?" Ash questioned.

"Maybe not. I wish we knew what they meant," Serena said.

"Leave that to me, the future is now thanks to science. Clemontic gear on! Allow me to present my Pokemon translator!" Clemont said.

"Wow!" Ash exclaimed.

"You've gotta get better at names," Bonnie remarked.

"Calling it now, this one is going to blow up just like the others," Nina said.

"But it sounds fascinating for sure!" Serena said.

"My brilliant invention allows the user to understand Pokémon. Which facilitates better communication with Pokémon, by performing a complete analysis of vocal tone, movement, and expression. Pancham, would you please say something? Switch on!" the inventor said turning on the machine. Both Pancham spoke into the speaker.

"What you have belongs to everyone?" The invention said.

"See, it gave us a perfect translation!" Clemont smiled.
