A couple of days have passed by. We've slowly been executing the plan. Faker and I are slowly working well together (shocked and mortified by this), Victor has been hatching out a diversion for everyone to work on and I see Amy is slowly trusting me more to handle this mission alright.
I don't want to lie and say I'm not worried about her either. But I am, she's just so important to me now and the thought of us getting captured by Lyric just makes me more focused and well driven to make sure we both make it out ok. Getting mind controlled was not what i imagined being fun and i just don't want that feeling i felt to be passed onto Amy.
As we were wrapping things up in Violet's training room i see Faker looking at me as i was getting ready to leave
Sonic: hey Shadz-
Shadow: (snaps) oh never call me that ever again faker
Sonic: Shadow...how are you feeling?
Shadow: fine, i am feeling fine
Sonic: Good, I can see you're very focused now. This is great, i feel like we might have a shot at this
Violet: Blue is right, you've been improving a lot Shadow. Amy must be rubbing off on you huh?
As she says that i break a laugh and hide the steam and hot feeling flooding on my face. Then I just remembered, Amy, I'm supposed to meet her at the library now.
Shadow: yeah, well thanks for the training today Violet, Faker not too sloppy today
Sonic: (frowns) uhh, thanks?
Shadow: but i should go now
