Yin Yang Reversal!

There was only water and the island below the dragon, but it acted as if it was lording over an entire nation! The look of derision and arrogance within its gaze showed that it saw everything beneath it as being no different from ants. Its pride was deeply embedded into its bones and its nature was unrelenting. Such was the nature of dragons.

As the emperors of all beasts, they were lustful greedy, and prideful. But they were also wise, knowledgeable, and very powerful. Of course, this only applied to True Dragons. Draconic beasts only had access to a tiny portion of this power in their bloodlines but it was enough to make them the hardest type of daemonic beasts to deal with. On land, in the skies, or the sea.

The waters around the ever-expanding island were incredibly turbulent. Large waves that were kilometers high and wide smashed into each other at high speed in the distance, far away enough to not flood the island.

It was as if a mysterious forcefield kept the chaotic waters from rampaging onto the ever-expanding island.

The duo's real bodies were not really there but they felt sensations that made them feel as if they were. They could feel the power, the aura, and the radiance of the dragon bearing down on them. Kenshin even had the urge to prostrate himself in front of the beast and pledge his allegiance, and he would have if he had not experienced this feeling through Bastian.

The latter was used to this, so instead of pure suppression, he also had a feeling of kinship. Of being part of something much greater than him. Both Bastian Smith and Sebastian Tirius had been loners during their past lives so they were not used to this feeling. Bastian had tried as much as he could to act familiar around Kenshin since they were literally stuck together till the afterlife.

Then finally, with a mighty earth-shaking roar, all the chaos stopped, the rain stopped falling, and the waters calmed. The lightning stopped falling and that had gathered at the speed of thought cleared away just as quickly. Leaving only the giant form of the beast and the stupendous Medici Matrix in the sky above the duo and the Wraiths.

Only the moon itself remained.

Kenshin took time to marvel at the sight. In the Medici Area, he could see everything and his blind eyes did not limit him. This moon and the dragon were the most incredible sights he had ever seen with his own

Then Bastian saw something strange. He could have sworn that he saw the two heads of the dragon smile. This expression however was brief. This was not the first time he had seen this.

'The first time I saw them smile, it resulted in them forming a massive apparition that forced me to run away from Shandelaar. I hope this won't happen again. But Nah, it won't. I'm sure of it... I think.

Bastian placed the sphere in between his palms which were at the north and south poles of the 'planet'.

"Empyrean Equilibrium Void Shattering Fist Fourth Chapter: Yin-Yang Reversal!"

At first, the creature had lunged toward Bastian when he awakened his bloodline, but now the creature simply broke up into motes of light that swooped into the spherical Matrix in Bastian's hands. The azure, vermillion, and tyrian motes of light made a great change to the matrix.

Kenshin had all of Bastian's memories, including memories of his bloodline abilities. Martial Techniques also had matrices called martial matrices but they focused more on the details regarding the movement of energy through one's pathways and movements. While spell matrices were more about thoughts and calculations.

Spells for mages and martial techniques for warriors, the stronger one became the more these lines blurred, and what Bastian was now doing was a classic example of such.

'He is fusing an extremely martial matrix born from the bloodline of a primordial beast into a spell matrix made from thousands of other matrices. This is absurd. What will result from this?'

Primordial beasts were like deities, creatures born from the natural laws of the universe. The techniques passed down through their bloodlines were representations of these laws in a simplified form.

For example, the Yin Yang reversal allowed one to turn Yin into Yang and Yang into Yang. In the right hands, this was a ruthless and overbearing power with countless applications.

'If he can really change yin into yang as he pleases...'

Kenshin shifted his attention to the wraiths trapped in the Flood Dragon Restriction and felt excitement. He had come up with a crazy notion, but he had no intention of abandoning it.

'If I have thought it, Bastian has already weaponized it. I'm confident.'

The Tyrian Double-Headed Storm Dragon was a deity beast that controlled the laws of balance as it pleased. While Bastian couldn't utilize that power to such a degree, he still had superb control over the concepts of balance and yin/yang.

'Every chapter of a complex technique like The Empyrean Equilibrium Void Shattering Fist is like a simplified dao. It contains a small hint of the laws of nature. Assimilating it into an artificial matrix made by combining spells created by mortals is a daunting task. Even with the assistance f a spiritual computer like the Matrix. Bastian's Soul is incredible. Just how did he gain such a powerful soul and ridiculous karma?'

Karmic Kings were the only mortals feared on the Sovereign Continent besides Mark Bearers.

Why? Because they literally had fate on their side. Having a karmic Emperor as an enemy meant making fate your enemy.

'Unless you have incredible Karma yourself.'

The Doom Wraiths were frightening not just because they were powerful and infectious, but also because they brought misfortune upon those they preyed on. When Kenshin bonded with Bastian, he was afraid that the latter would be affected by his negative Karma. But after talking with Minister Li and learning more about Bastian Kenshin's worries were allayed.
