From the moment I wake up, I get ready for the day and go to find Lo'ak. We've been best friends all our lives, so a whopping 15 years.
We're on look out, just making sure there's nothing out of the ordinary. My Ikran is purple with beautiful shades of blue and pink while Lo'ak's is blue and yellow with streaks of red.
We've been flying around for a while now, I was getting bored.
"Hey! I'll race you back to the mountains!" I say as we both hover next to each other.
"Ready?" He asks
"Go!" We both fly as fast as the Ikran will go, swooping up and down around the moving rocks.
I got a little bit of a lead on him getting up in the air. Right when I'm about to land, I see Lo'ak standing next to his Ikran waiting for me.
"How did you do that?!" I yell
"A shortcut" he smirks
"maybe one of these days you'll actually get me... but not today." He laughs
We laugh, teasing each other talking about every little thing in our head on the way back home. I couldn't ask for a better friend!!
"hey Lo'ak?"
"Hm?" He looks at me
"I'm really glad we're friends" I smile
"Eww that was so cheesy!" He laughs lightly shoving me
*I pretend to be offended*
"I'm just playing! I'm really glad we're friends too!" He smiles nudging me again
