Before I start let me clarify that the Holika Dahan Pooja that I have described here is as per what I follow in my house, so it might be different from what some of you are used to.

Important: This chapter has a lot of Hindi dialogues, because to be perfectly honest English didn't give the same feeling. So, if anyone needs translations to them, then please let me know. Also, I added a small para about the story related to the festival of Holi.

The next day everyone woke up early in the morning, before sunrise, for Holika Dahan.

A small bonfire was lit in the courtyard of the house for the pooja.

One by one everyone offered water, Roli, Chawal and some sweet to the bonfire.

Then they all walked in a circle around the bonfire six times in clockwise direction, followed by one round anti clockwise.

They met with some of the neighbours outside and wished them 'Happy Holi' before coming back in the house for resting until it was time for playing Holi later in the day.

Later in the morning, Abhimanyu wakes up before his wife, like he had for the past few weeks. He went to get ready quickly so that he could help his wife later.

The pregnancy had made his wife more tired than usual, so Priyanka had started to sleep much later than her usual time.

After getting ready, Abhimanyu sat near his wife to watch her sleep peacefully, which admittedly sounded a bit creepy.

The first time she caught her husband like this, Priyanka had been scared and worried about his reaction to her sleeping in unintentionally.

Abhimanyu explained to his wife that it was normal for her to sleep more now because she was also taking care of the new life inside of her.

Priyanka tried to argue that as his wife it was her duty to be up before him and make breakfast, but her husband immediately shut down her argument by calling it unfair for him to expect his wife to do all their household chores alone.

Abhimanyu admitted to his wife that he loved the days when he woke up before her because watching her sleep peacefully next to him reassured him of the fact that his wife was truly happy with him.

Priyanka couldn't help but blush as her husband's confession and slowly she got used to finding her husband watching her sleep whenever she slept in.

Just then there was an urgent knock on the door which caused Priyanka to stir a little, so her husband immediately ran to check who had arrived.

Abhimanyu opened the door to find Priyanka's Chachi standing in front of him.

Anu says, "Abhimanyu Ji, is Priyanka here? She was supposed to help me today with some Holi preparations."

Abhimanyu replies, "Chachi Ji, Priyanka has been feeling more tired than usual because of her pregnancy, so I didn't wake her up till now. She will wake up soon, so I'll help her get ready quickly and bring her downstairs myself."
