Now let me explain about how this story came to be...
While reading a lot of stories about the men's team, I thought about writing my own story with some of my favourite members of the Indian Cricket Team. (Thank you pari, son and many others for writing such wonderful ICT stories that I have enjoyed over the past few months since I first discovered them)
Being a girl who has dealt with a lot of judgement for enjoying activities that are said to be appropriate only for boys, I chose to write a story about a female cricketer. The protagonist's characteristics are sort of inspired by me, which makes this story a little extra special to me.
Now I also happen to be a proud MSDian, so I really wanted to include my idol in my first cricket story.

This story will include some of the players of both the Indian Cricket Teams, but the events that take place in this story are completely fictional, even if they might be slightly inspired from some real-life incidents.
I have planned to include some of the legends of Indian Cricket like Mithali Raj and Sourav Ganguly, along with current stars like Harmanpreet Kaur and Virat Kohli who are currently playing with youngsters like Shafali Verma and Shubman Gill.
The relation all these real and fictional characters will share will be as per my imagination, which may or may not be influenced by somethings that I might have read somewhere.
