All the eminence fics and the announcement of season 2 made me want to try writing another chapter

Cid Kagenou was sitting at his desk in his room doing his homework

well

trying to do his homework but he didn't understand anything 

A sigh left his mouth that was heard by the girl sitting by his side 

Nu: Is something the matter master?

Nu is a beautiful young woman with dark brown hair and eyes with matching color, she joined Shadow Garden not too long ago but her skills were acknowledged by even Alpha and she quickly risen through their ranks 

She either works as Gamma's bodyguard or Cid's disguised assistant 

Cid: Hm? it's nothing

Nu nodded and continued to watch Cid doing his work

She didn't understand why Cid was still playing the fool right now

In her eyes and the rest of Shadow Garden, Cid was very smart so the idea that Cid didn't understand a subject didn't exist to them 

She started to think about how her beloved master acts at school

How he's trying so hard to look weak while getting the attention of multiple princesses 

That thought made her frown for a second, something that Cid noticed 

Cid: What's wrong Nu?

Nu: eh?

Cid: You were frowning so I thought you want to ask me something or are you bored sitting here?

Nu: N- no! I would never be bored by your side master, I was just curious about somethi- ah

She quickly covered her mouth

Cid: oh? what is it?

Nu: It's nothing, forgive me for interrupting your work

Cid showed an unreadable expression which made Nu worried 

Cid (wait, did she frown because I made a mistake on something easy on my homework?)

Cid: Nu, how about this, you can ask me anything but in exchange you solve my homework 

Nu: Really? (what would master Shadow get out of thi- wait, did he say this to put less pressure on me? ... oh master is truly kind)

meanwhile Cid (Hahaha now I don't need to solve this impossible homework)  

Nu: Alright, then may I know if Master is aware that recently more shadows of women are hovering around you? 

Cid: You talking about Shadow Garden?

Nu: No master, I'm talking about girls hovering around Cid

Cid took a few seconds to think about it

Cid: You mean Alexia?

Nu felt her chest hurt, how he said the name of the girl that's hated by most of Shadow Garden for dating their beloved master while treating him like a dog  

Nu: if she's the first you thought of ....  then you must have feelings for her 

Nu looked at Cid expecting him to show some form of embarrassment or indifference but he only showed disgust 

Cid: Don't say something so weird!

Nu: It seems I was wrong 

Cid: Of course you're wrong, what in the world did it give you that impression?

Nu suddenly felt really happy at the confirmation 

Nu: Then why did you start dating that princess if I'm allowed to ask

It was a question that not even the 7 shades had the answer to

Cid frowned 

Cid: Because Alexia was paying me even if I had to act like a dog from time to time

The answer confused Nu, surely he knew that all the money that Mitsugoshi made belong to him- oh

She understood

Her master is the son of a baron, he couldn't show his wealth even if he wanted to but if someone rich gave it to him in the open

Nu smiled 

Nu: I understand master (I need to ask lady Gamma to prepare 10 or 20 chests full of gold coins, I also need to prepare a new disguise)

Nu found a way to keep Alexia away from her beloved master (without killing the princess), she's going to play the mysterious rich woman and will give Cid 10 times more money than Alexia could give him 

Cid had a feeling that Nu didn't understood but he didn't care because now she was doing his impossible homework
