When I was finally home after that long and gruesome bus ride I fell right onto my bed. That's when I noticed how much my throat hurt, I couldn't help but to question why I told him so much. 'Why would I over share like that, I know better I always feel like this afterwards.'
I look over at my phone seeing who messaged me seeing that it's from one of my teammates I grab my phone and I open it.
Kumi: AMAYA
Kumi: THE FUNNIEST THING HAPPENED TODAY AT PRACTICE
Kumi: YOUR NOT GOING TO BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED
Me: WHAT HAPPENED YOU HAVE TO TELL ME RIGHT NOW
Kumi: EYE EYE CAPTAIN
Kumi: so basically while we were scrimmaging Mai kicked the ball and hit Shig in the dick
Kumi: which was funny on its own then when Mai went to pass him the ball again he turned around hitting the ball with his back
Me: STOPPP
Me: I feel like I definitely did something similar before
Kumi: NOOO BC YOU DEFINITELY HAVE
Kumi: Coach was practically on the floor when that happened
Me: I can see it
Kumi: when are you coming back we all miss you
Me: hopefully soon
Kumi: you promise
Me: I promise
Me: goodnight ku
Kumi: goodnight may
Did I get a very dumb idea from this conversation yes yes I did. Am I going to go through with it, yes yes I am. I go to my contacts and type in coach and there he pops up coach Norio. I click on his icon and hit the text bubble icon.
Me: Hey coach it's Amaya would I be able to go to one of the up coming practices to surprise everyone
Coach Norio: Yeah I think that's a great idea Amaya
Me: okay great are practices still on the same days and at the same times
Coach Norio: yeah
Me: okay
With that I turn my phone off getting up and change out of the clothes that I was wearing.
I put on my pajamas and going back to my bed and actually going to sleep. Today was such a long day.
Somehow the week flew by and tomorrow I was going to go back to practice which I am supper exited for.
I woke up from the constant ringing and vibrations of my phone right next to my head. I don't even open my eyes I just hit the stop button on my phone to stop the alarm. I was just about to fall back to sleep when I heard people talking. Which woke me right back up, I push myself up and grab my phone. Seeing a bunch of people on camera and a most of them being people I don't want to see.
"Amaya so glad you answered" someone said which honestly I have know idea who, my screen is way to bright for my eyes even though it's on the lowest setting.
"What the actually fuck is going on" I said very confused like it's about 3 in the morning and they're all wide awake
"Why did you answer then" someone else said
"I thought I was turning off my alarm" I said my eyes still closed
"Amaya you thought the FaceTime was an alarm" someone said
"Yeah I was wondering why you actually joined" someone else said
"Hey Amaya I just want to apologize for what I said to you" I think Akashi said to me
"Huh" I said not expecting that at all
"Did you really not hear me" he said again
"No I heard you I was just not expecting that from you" I said trying to open my eyes but they just stay closed
"Oh you're Amaya how's your head doing" someone asked
"Huh fine why" I said
"Oh I just watched the video of it and it looked pretty bad" the same person said
"Huh was it that bad" I said shrugging my shoulders
"Amaya did you lose any of your memories" someone asked
"How am I supposed to know if I forgot something if I don't remember what I forgot" I asked about to fall asleep again and which I did when everyone started talking at the same time.
Third person
"How am I supposed to know if I forgot something if I don't remember what I forgot" the blonde haired girl said with her eyes squeezed shut trying to prevent the light from hitting her eyes.
"I mean she does have a good point" the light blue haired boy said
After what Kuroko said practically everyone in the group chat began talking at once, bringing up all their past memories together.
After they were all done talking simultaneously they realized that the girl they were interrogating was not responding.
"Amaya" the purple giant said but was completely ignored by said girl.
"Amaya are you sleeping right now" Midorima said
After Midorima pointed that out everyone began to notice how relaxed she looked her once tightly closed eyes were now very relaxed, her body was now leaning side ways when before it was sat straight up.
"Hey when was the last time we seen her like this" Kise says out of the blue
"Oh you know like a few minutes ago from that video" the blueberry said
"No like while we were with her sort of" Kise said again
"Oh probably a few years then" said the blueberry again
"A few years for what" Amaya said out of no where
"Good morning sleeping beauty" the pink haired girl said almost like it was the morning
"Whatever I'm going back to bed now, so goodbye" Amaya said hanging up right after not waiting for a single reply.
Once the room was filled with silence again she sat there staring at the empty wall in front of her, a wall that would normally be filled with pictures and memories of everything that she holds dear. Just like wall across from her bed at her moms house, those pictures always reminded her of the life that she made. The life where she was always surrounded by people, and not just any people, people she wanted around. Now the empty wall reminds her how that life came crashing down with in a few moments. The once crowded girl was now alone, with no one close to her. A life that was torturous to a girl that will always crave for a permanent distraction.
She couldn't help stop the tear that fell from her eye. She just let it role right down her cheek, hoping for it to feel more real. Hoping for something inside of her to flip and for her to be okay again. To feel like she did when she was crowded, when she had the life in the pictures across from her bed.
By the time she realized it she was already falling asleep and soon was completely asleep again.
