Kiyotaka's Point Of View
The third day went by smoothly. Sometimes Class B students visited us while Class D students came over to annoy us, but the peace stopped when our fourth day came around as I just came back from my morning run and found the boys and the girls fighting each other.
Seems like Ibuki must've made her move after having two days of gaining our trust...
Shinohara: We can't sleep next to perverts who steal underwear?!
Ike: How do you even know it was us?!
Yamauchi: Yeah! Karuizawa-chan must've dropped them and lost them somewhere!!
I saw a group of girls and boys clashing with each other.
Kiyotaka: Hirata and Horikita, can you... Um, give me the synopsis of our current situation.
I walked up to Hirata and Horikita, who seemed to be discussing something serious.
Hirata: Ah! Ayanokoji-kun. Just on time, you see Karuizawa-san. Woke up this morning with one of her underwear missing.
Horikita: And the girls are blaming the boys for stealing her underwear.
Kiyotaka: I see... I have a suspect in mind already, but just to be sure. Hirata and I should check the boy's belongings.
They nodded, and so we went up to the groups of girls and boys.
Matsushita: This is such a mess...
Matsushita muttered in disappointment.
Maya: Ah! Kiyotaka!
Maya called out to me after spotting me.
Kiyotaka: Yes, my names Kiyotaka. Now can somebody please tell me why you guys are fighting? We're supposed to work together, not against each other, guys. C'mon.
Both of the groups immediately turn to me.
Ken: Dude, the girls are blaming us for being underwear thieves without any proof that we did it at all! It's so unfair!
Inogashira: Who else would it be, then?
Shinohara: I know, right?! With boys like YOU in our class. Naturally, all the suspicion would fall on one of you or worse. All of you!!
Miyamoto: What's that supposed to mean?!
Onodera: It's exactly as you think! You underwear-stealing PERVERTS! You all made Kei-chan cry... even after the rumors, she's been trying to stay strong. Yet one of you couldn't keep it to yourself and pushed her to her limit!!!
Man, the people who're spreading those rumors are such assholes...
Yamauchi: Stop blaming us for things we didn't do!
Ike: Yeah, I bet it's Ibuki-chan. She's clearly a spy sent to sabotage us!
It's better if you both just don't talk... behind Ibuki, you guys are probably the biggest potential culprits...
Kiyotaka: Alright, alright. That's enough. I think I get the gist of the situation now. Look how about this. Hirata and I will search the boy's bags just for insurance while you girls can go discuss with Horikita and Kikyo who you think the real culprit can be, that sound good?
The girls nod as they can trust only Hirata and me, while the boys begrudgingly agree to it due to having no other choice.
God, it's like I'm babysitting...
