Just wanted to put it out there that I usually never do negative foreshadowing in this book. I always see people saying stuff like "I hope nothing band happens to ranboo" or "I feel like this is foreshadowing for something bad". There are littles who read this book often and I would never hurt the characters or write heavy angst or something like that without warning, so you guys dont ever have to worry abt it :]]]

Speaking of warnings, Ranboo is missing people a lot in this one so it's got some mild angst-- BUT THERES FLUFF AT THE END!

Today was not a good day. Ranboo had been sleepy all day, but he had to get editing done (not that he'd ever finish) and he had a few meetings for Generation Loss. It was nearly the time Ranboo would usually go to bed, but he decided to toe the line by doing just a bit more work. They apologized to Bee maybe six or seven times for not hanging out with her, but she said she enjoyed just sitting in the room with him doing her own thing.

That's what they did a lot in America, but it felt bad now that they were on a time limit for spending time with one another. Ranboo was stressed, he wanted a nap, and he missed Tubbo. Gosh, he really missed Tubbo. Oddly enough, he began to feel homesick in an instant.

Ranboo pushed his chair away from his desk lightly and brought his knees to his chest. Why was he suddenly so upset? They didnt understand. He felt himself slipping quickly and he brought his hands to his face to hide the quickly forming tears in his eyes.

They saved their work and shut their computer down quickly, sliding down onto the floor and scooting over to Bee, who was sitting in a bean bag she'd dragged over.

They huffed, laying their head in her blanketed lap and trying their best not to cry.

"What's wrong, Boo?" Bee asked.

Ranboo sniffled and didnt answer. He stared at the carpet until he felt ready enough to answer.

"Miss dada, Bee. An' miss home. Misses Jenny an' mom back homes."

"Jenny as in my mom, right?" Bee confirmed, and Ranboo nodded. "It's okay to miss them, mijo. We all get a little homesick sometimes."

Ranboo nodded, and a sob built in his throat. Bee pulled the blanket over him and rubbed his back lovingly to try and help. She knew it was probably best to just let them cry it out.

"Its okay, I've got you. I'm right here."

"But I wish dada was, too!"

Bee frowned and gently tugged Ranboo closer, holding him in a warm embrace and letting the little cry into her chest.

"Well, do you remember when your dada's meant to be home?"

Ranboo shook his head as he gripped the back of Bee's shoulders to ground himself. He didnt know when the boy was meant to be home, he just knew he wanted his Dada right now. He loved Bee, but the two caregivers were different people and he longed for them both equally.

"He gets home tomorrow, little one. Did you forget?"

Ranboo did forget, but that didnt mean his unhappiness was hindered. It made things slightly better, but in his three year old mind, having to wait any longer was a disaster.

"But I wan' him now, Bee! Is not fair!"

"I know, buddy. I know. You just have to be really patient, alright? We can stay right here until you feel better, and if you dont feel better then we'll just have to find a way to move on for a bit, 'kay?"

"Don' wanna be patience. Been patience all two weeks!"

Be brought her hand up to Ranboo's hair and raked her fingers through it softly to make attempts at consoling the little one.
