Draco felt a little embarrassed in the morning because he didn't remember anything. After drinking the hangover potion and a morning shower, he was at least able to function. Luna forced him to eat several macaroons.

"Thank you," he whispered. "I'm glad you came. You helped me a lot. Did you give me some sleeping potion?"

"No, that would be bad for you. I have experience in better hypnotic methods," she laughed.

"How is Harry anyway?"

"Harry is doing everything he can to find Scorpius. He hardly sleeps or eats, either. He's just as scared as you are, and he's also heartbroken. Have mercy on him, Draco."

The blond sighed. "I can't just forgive him. What was he even thinking not to look out for Scorpius?"

"He was thinking about you. About how much he likes you."

"Don't bother me, Luna."

"You kept calling his name yesterday."

"I was completely drunk."

"Exactly. You dropped your insincere facade. You need him. You need each other."

Draco was getting impatient. "We'd better get the interrogation done."

"I won't ask you anything, I'll just look into your head. Relax, please. Legilimens."

Draco opened his mind and let Luna look through his memories. It broke her heart to see how happy he and Harry had been not so long ago. The story of their acquaintance unfolded in front of her like a movie with a bad ending. However, she did not discover any new relevant information.

------

"Everything you and Harry could tell me, I already know. We need information directly from Scorpius. Let's try telepathy. This is extrasensory perception so that information can be transferred from mind to mind over a long distance. I want to try to establish a connection between you and Scorpius," Luna presented a new plan.

"I'm not particularly good at legilimency," Draco protested.

"This is not legilimency. You just focus on a thought and send it to Scorpius. And he might perhaps send the thought to you."

"Luna, he's four. How could he do that?"

"I don't know if he can do it, but we must give it a chance. We have to try everything. Draco, please, you have to stop drinking completely now."

"I can promise that," Draco said guiltily.

"Try not to let your emotions control you."

"I can't, I'm gripped by fear."

"I know. I'm a little worried that it won't work. But let's try it together. First, I need you to relax physically as much as possible.''

Luna stood behind Draco and began to massage his shoulders gently. She could feel Draco slowly relax, he wasn't sitting so stiff anymore.

"Now relax mentally. Don't be distracted by any thoughts. Don't think about anything; breathe deeply."

Draco dutifully carried out the assignment. He would do anything that could help.

"Now it will be a little more difficult. Imagine Scorpius standing right in front of you. Focus on him. Perceive him as if he were here with you. Talk to him."

"Scorpius, my love, tell me where you are...?"

Draco couldn't speak any longer due to his agitation. His breathing began to quicken, and his heart pounded. Turns out he's going to have a panic attack if he doesn't stop.

"I can't, I just can't," Draco howled desperately, breaking down in tears again.

Luna took his hand.

"It's okay, we'll try it again later. Draco, I have to go now. Please stick to what we agreed upon. Don't leave the house, your chaotic search won't help anyway, you're just putting yourself in danger."

Draco agreed to everything.

"If you have the strength, try to reconnect with Scorpius. Send him any idea, and don't freak out if it doesn't work out.''

Draco nodded.

"I will come to see you every day. Don't you dare do something stupid again," Luna smiled, and kissed his hair lightly.
