Louis is struggling with his mental health, and he wants to tell Harry, but he's too scared because he doesn't want to lose his best friend; the only thing that's keeping him going. He writes a song that one day, Harry gets to hear and it brings him to tears.

Okay, so the song above is by the artist/tiktoker Alex Warren, it's a beautiful song and I got to see it performed live because he was the opener for Daniel Seavey. I definitely recommend that you listen to the song, it brought me to tears the first time I heard it.

TW and other notes: Depression, Suicidal Thoughts, You might cry, Happy Ending, Fluff, Might be short, BTW there not together yet

Enjoy!

Louis was in his room as he laid in his bed. Harry walked in a few minutes later, "Hey, have you been in here all day, Lou?" the smaller nodded, "Have you eaten?" Louis shook his head. The taller walked over and sat on the bed next to him, "Can you talk to me please?" Louis shook his head again, "I'm gonna make you something to eat, okay?" Louis shrugged.

Harry left the room and walked into the kitchen with a soft sigh, he missed the old Louis, he wanted to see the boy smile more and talk to him more again, he missed his Louis that he met in high school.

~

"Lou, wake up," Louis turned away from Harry and shook his head, "Lou, please?" Louis shook his head again, and Harry sighed before putting the tray down on his desk. He laid down on the bed next to Louis and faced him, "Boo, talk to me, tell me what's going on, you're not yourself anymore,"

Harry hugged him, "I miss your smile, I miss your laugh, I miss your sassiness, I miss the old you," Louis sniffled, making the taller hold him close, "It's alright, it's going to be alright," he whispered as he slowly rubbed his hand up and down the older's back.

3 days later...

Louis was in his room on his bed with his guitar as he cried, he strummed to a tune in his head and started trying to put words with it...

I'm in the backseat of my own life
Someone else is driving
Down a street that don't feel like mine
Windows up so high I can't breathe
You can hold me, say it's all right
I'll be lonely at the same time
Wide awake but stuck inside a dream
Is it only me or do you
Ever feel like you've had enough?
Screaming at the top of your lungs
These days it's so dark and I can't get my head right
Mind is spinning out of control
Running, but there's nowhere to go
These days it's so dark that I can't see with headlights
I don't know how I'm still surviving
In the clouds so high
It almost feels like I'm flying without a pilot
Paralyzed, but I'm still hеre trying
You can hold me, say it's all right
I'll be lonеly at the same time
Wide awake but stuck inside a dream
Is it only me or do you
Ever feel like you've had enough?
Screaming at the top of your lungs
These days it's so dark and I can't get my head right
Mind is spinning out of control
Running, but there's nowhere to go
These days it's so dark that I can't see with headlights
Oh-oh, oh, oh
Oh-oh, oh, oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh, oh, oh
Oh-oh, oh, oh-oh-oh
You can hold me, say it's all right
I'll be lonely at the same time
Wide awake but stuck inside a dream
Is it only me or-
The backseat of my own life
Someone else is driving
Ever feel like you've had enough?
Screaming at the top of your lungs
These days it's so dark and I can't get my head right
Mind is spinning out of control
Running, but there's nowhere to go
These days it's so dark that I can't see with headlights

Louis was sobbing as he finished the song, he started playing it again, it felt so perfect to him, and how he felt and he couldn't stop crying.
