It's been a moment since we've been staring into each others eyes. For some reason, I couldn't stop. I didn't want to. Suddenly, all I wanted was to feel his big, soft lips on mine.
I knew, he wouldn't try to kiss me again after the last time. So, it was now up to me. My first kiss. Brody never kissed me. He was never interested in that. The only thing he cared about was my body.
The thought of that, almost made me tear up again, but I tried to overcome the feeling. Right now, there was a feeling of mine, which was way more present.
Erling's eyes basically begged me to kiss him, even though, he didn't say anything.
A little hesitant, I moved closer to him with my body and then even closer to him with my face. In his face, I noticed wonder. But, he didn't comment on it. He just let me do me.
I looked alternately at his lips and then his eyes. Erling didn't move. He did not intend to take the initiative because he was probably afraid he would scare me off.
Slowly, I moved my face in his direction and bent my head slightly. Our lips were only millimeters away from each other. It was almost like, I was already able to feel the taste of his lips without even touching them. But, I wanted to touch them. So badly. If it would be someone, it would be him.
I gathered my courage and put my lips on Erling's very slowly. I was afraid to move, so I kept my lips on his. After a few seconds Erling, then, carefully moved his lips in a rhythmic movement. I followed.
His lips felt even better than I had imagined. He was so passionate, but gentle and careful at the same time, as if I could break any second.
I placed my right hand on his left shoulder to have more hold. Erling didn't break the kiss, instead, he slowly moved his right hand on my cheek. His big, warm hand gently caressed my cold cheek.
Due to lack of oxygen, we had to break the kiss eventually. Our eyes met, immediately. Erling's hand rested on my cheek while a soft smile formed his lips. I couldn't help it, but answer his smile with one, too. "You okay?" He whispered. I nodded, smiling, softly.
It was the best first kiss, I could ever ask for. And the fact that Erling was the one who gave it to me, made everything even better. He was amazing.
Erling smiled before gently pulling me into a tight hug. His arms were wrapped around my back while I was hugging his lower body. In his arms I felt safe and at home. How was that possible? I barely knew him. But, even in this short time, he'd become someone so important to me.
I just took a shower in the bathroom before putting on my new clothes. Thank god, Erling had brought me some. I wouldn't have been able to face Brody

After I put some product in my hair, I left the bathroom and walked into Erling's room. Erling sat on the bed side with his feet stamped into the ground. His eyes were on the phone in his hands.

He has changed, too, and looked handsome as always. He looked up when he noticed my presence. Instantly, he put his phone to the side and focused on me only. "Hey, how are you feeling?"
I swallowed down the memories of yesterday. My body still hurt a lot. "Better." I said, quietly.
Erling got up from the bed and slowly walked up to me. "Are you hungry? I thought we could go eat burgers."
I nodded. "Sounds good."
He was perfect, and me? I was just there. Hurting inside and outside, feeling numb. I had no idea why Erling did all of this. He could be so happy. Happy with his perfect life and his perfect family.
We entered the burger restaurant and searched the room for an empty table. As soon as we found one, we walked there and took a seat across from each other.
While we were checking the menus, I felt Erling's gaze on me. I looked up and noticed that his gaze was on my bruises. The bruises on my face, which were the only ones, which were visible right now.
Him looking at it, made me uncomfortable. He noticed it right away, and looked back down to the menu card. I lowered my gaze and sighed, quietly.
Why couldn't my life just be normal like everyone else's?
After we ate our burgers, Erling payed for the both of us even though I told him I could pay for myself. He insisted.
We went back into his car and he started to drive. "Thanks again for the food."
"No problem." He gifted me a soft smile when he glanced at me for a second. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and checked the messages for the first time in many hours.
Of course most of the messages were from Brody. Insults, threats and he even hinted that he's going to punish me as soon as he gets me. Unbelievable. He was sick.
However, two messages were from Gaby.
"Hey, where are you?"
"School started hours ago. Are you okay?"
"Oh god." I mumbled to my phone. We missed school.
"What's wrong?" Erling gazed at me with concern.
"We missed school." I explained.
Erling let out a sigh, which seemed like relief.
"Yeah. I thought I'll let you sleep in."
He was very thoughtful. He impressed me more by each second. "I called in sick for us."
I started smiling, uncontrollable.
"Thank you."
He glared at me for a second and smiled back before focussing on the road again.
As we drove up the driveway, a blue-red glowing light dazzled us.
