Weeks passed since the amazing travel Soora took, and her routine improved exponentially. She now was capable of walking down the streets, always accompanied, of course, instead of being driven around.

She now could do her grocery shopping in person instead of buying online, albeit she always chose the less crowded hours, and Chae was always by her side. She also started to go to the Wonderland Café have lunch every once in a while, keeping Yoongi company in his break time.

And her therapy sessions seemed to have become only hangouts with her friend. Of course, there were still issues they needed to address regarding her medicine, which she was decreasing dosages and eliminating pills altogether.

Those changes could cause some setbacks and a few unwanted side effects, but overall she was being able to take everything well, with no major crisis that wasn't easily averted or placated.

"I can't believe you're almost graduating and becoming officially a psychologist!" Soora commemorated in one of their sessions, where Seokjin told her he would stop being her therapist.

This news left her anxious and apprehensive at first, but Seokjin quickly clarified that his role as her therapist would end because he was going to graduate and that due to their proximity, it wasn't advised for him to professionally keep following her up anymore.

This wouldn't mean that if she needed him he wouldn't help her, but that regarding her pills and other more serious matters, he couldn't be able to help her. To this, he passed his teacher's and her case supervisor's contact, who offered to keep following her up after Jin's graduation.

Soora was sad about losing Seokjin as her therapist but was opposed to keeping following up with his teacher, who already knew everything about her case.

"Me neither. But... my professor gave us one last challenge, one that will determine if you really need to be followed up so frequently as weekly, or if you can already start only having sessions monthly."

"Okay? I'm curious, what is it?"

"The only piece of the puzzle left for you to seal your trauma away and make amends and peace with your past. Your father."

It had been weeks since Seokjin brought up her last test. She didn't take it well, but she didn't overreact either. Soora knew she needed to talk with him to finally be done with everything that branded her soul eternally, so she could finally seal the wound that kept on bleeding for so long.

The decision to go visit him came suddenly as she was watching TV with her sister and her boyfriend.

"Can we go see my father?" She asked, and both choked up and looked at her in silence, surprised by the sudden request.

She hadn't told them about the last mission Seokjin, or rather his teacher, gave her, more because she was still figuring out what she felt about the proposition herself. Soora couldn't figure out what she felt more regarding her father, hurt, hatred, or nothing at all.

Her trauma was caused by his lack of care, but his lack of care was caused by an unsurmountable amount of pain caused by the loss of the love of his life. It still wasn't defensible in the least, but she could understand him and his pain.

Living in such drowsiness, such numbness from feeling too much, it was something she had gotten familiar with, and now that she was doing well, she couldn't imagine going back to it. However, all while she lived in such conditions, she felt comfort in it, strangely. So Soora knew it was hard for him to get out of it, alone.

She had a strong network of support, but he had no one. Up until a few months ago, he still had Chaeyun, but she could do so much, and it wasn't enough.

The pain, sorrow, and anger that Soora felt for her father faded into a sense of wanting to help, of wanting to be his support network. So when she went to visit him and saw the conditions he was living in, she made a promise to herself to only leave when he was sober enough to have a talk with her.

It took a day and a half for her, Chae, and Hobi to put the house into pristine condition and get rid of any vestige of alcohol in the house. Chae knew all the nicks and hiding places of their house, so there was no bottle left behind. And when he woke up they gave him pills, a bath, and hangover soup.

When he was finally sober enough to talk, Soora talked her heart out, about how much he hurt her, how much she struggled, and how much she had needed him and her mom. They both cried, and he apologized, as he had done before, but this time she forgave him, and this time he promises to get better.

And as she says she'll always be by her side and won't let him fall again, her father checks into a rehab clinic.
