Chapter 25

The chapter is short :( but its a filler for whats to come ;)

"Noah," I moan as my back arches. "can we stop here?" I question and Noah's lips leave my stomach and his hands fly off my thighs.

"Sorry," Noah says. I grab my shirt on the bed and put it on, I move up, and Noah sits next to me, pulling his own shirt on.

"Why are you apologizing?" I chuckle.

Noah shrugs and pulls me onto his lap. "Because you weren't comfortable."

I rest my forehead against his forehead. "That's why I said stop," I tell him. I lean into Noah and press my swollen lips to Noah's. A bang on the door makes me jump and I bang my head on Noah's. "ow," I mumble. Noah laughs and my cheeks heat up. How sexy was that? "my doors locked for a reason!" I yell.

"Come on the guys brought food," Noah says as he gets off my bed.

"Now look whose choosing food over me," I challenge. Noah laughs and throws my jeans to me, I jump off my bed and pull them on. Noah pulls on his sweatshirt. He unlocks my bedroom door and we head into the game room where all the guys are pigging out on food.

"Oh, Noah! Oooo, Noah!" Matt moans, my face heats up as I realize he's mocking me.

"Stop!" I whine as I throw my hands over my face.

"Matt's just playing with you, we didn't hear anything," Ross adds with an eye roll. I slowly let my hands drop and I walk over to the bed, grabbing some pizza.

"You're so mean, Matt!"

Matt smirks at me. "You love me shortie."

"Says who?" I joke.

Cade smirks at me and lifts an eyebrow. "Cedes, your shirt is backwards." with horror I quickly look down at my shirt but sigh of relief when I see Cade is just playing around.

"Come on you guys leave her alone," Noah snaps.

Emery grabs the piece of pizza in my hand and starts eating it. "Thanks," he exclaims as he goes to sit back down in a beanie bag. I glare at him.

"Where have you been for the past week?" Matt asks.

"Yeah, my mom and dad are getting pissed that you're skipping school," I sing when I grab another piece of pizza.

Emery shrugs. "Stuff."

"Stuff? Like banging chicks stuff?" Ross questions.

Emery announced that he was know a single man the other week. Guess you could say we were surprised. I mean she was the only thing really close to him besides his friends, of course, but still I was surely surprised. He seemed like he really liked Cara. I guess things changed and now we're all just trying to figure out who Emery likes now. Matt says the girl in his French class. Ross says the chick with the big ass in Math. Cade thinks he's gay. And Chance and Noah could care less.

I could really care less as well. I just hope Emery finds a great girl and one who will treat him right.

"What are we going to do tonight?" Ross asks.

"Yeah what are we doing for the birthday boy?" Cade exclaims.

Chance sighs and kicks back in his chair. "7 o'clock Presco, you guys are coming too."

"Is that the fancy restaurant with the unlimited bread roll things?" I wonder.

Matt laughs. "Bingo!" I grin and grab another pizza.

"Birthday boy's getting laid tonight!"

"I'm thinking of going back to Nevada for a couple days," my head whips to Emery. "it'll be just for a couple of days. I have stuff to do and its not like you're going to miss me right, Cedes?" Emery chuckles with a smirk.

Was he being serious right now? I wasn't going to miss him? I wasn't going to miss him? Like hell I was. What part of Emery I hate when you go back to Nevada does he not understand?? This irritates me to the bones. I've told him a million and one times but he does not listen. I understand Nevada is where his life is but he's now living with us not Nevada anymore, that's his past life. What does it take for him to realize I still need my best friend?

I don't answer Emery as he parks in the parking lot of Presco, I sigh and get out of the car and into the restaurant. Emery follows behind me as I walk to the table where Chance, Silver, Noah, and the guys are sitting.

"Hey, hey!" I exclaim when I sit next to Noah. Emery takes a seat next to Silver. "how does it feel to be 18?" I ask Chance.

"The same," he answers with a chuckle. I shrug, I guess you never really feel different on your birthday.

"Hello, I'm Melissa and I will be your waitress today. What drinks can I start you all on tonight?"

"3 waters and 4 sprites," Chance answers then looks at Emery.

"A water too," Emery says. Melissa nods then walks away.

"So tomorrow I'm thinking about going to that indoor water parks place, anyone want to come?" Ross questions.

I crease my eyebrows. "That place near ALC?" Ross nods. "I'll go."

"What time?" Noah asks.

"Thinking 10 to 5ish, then maybe we can hit a fast food place on the way home, yeah?" we all nod. Ross is the one who usually comes up with the stuff we should do. Which is perfectly fine with us because the stuff we come up with is usually illegal. Its good to have an innocent guy in this group because honestly we would all be in jail right now.

"Oh! So, Cedes?" I turn to Silver and nod. "bathroom?" I nod then stand up and follow Silver to the bathroom. "getting laid tonight," she blurts once the bathroom door shuts behind us.

My eyes go wide. "Silver!" I exclaim.

"What?" she whines.

"Are you sure you want to? Are you ready?" Silver nods, I sigh. "'I'm not sure if I'm suppose to be congratulating you?" Silver all but laughs.

It was quiet on the way home so when Emery pulled into the driveway we both just sat there, in silence.

"Emery?" I whisper as I break the silence.

"Yeah?"

"What if I go to Nevada with you?"
