When Jet entered the large castle, he was scooped up by Alphonso. "Glad Chloe could convince you to come." He beamed.

"It's like she gave me a choice," I said glaring at the female Neko.

"Don't be too harsh on her, it was Jake's idea. He was worried about you." The human informed him, setting the Neko down.

Jet laid his ears back, "He suggested it?" He parroted back softly.

"Yeah, Jake was worried about him gone all the time, you'd get lonely, so he suggested you spend some time at the castle with us," Alphonso explained.

Jet shook his thoughts out of his mind, "How can I help?" He asked.

The older human thought to himself for a few minutes, "You and Chloe can make sure everything looks good, and maybe test taste some of the food we are going to have at the stalls." He suggested. Jet's ears perked up quickly which caused the other to laugh. "Knew that would perk your spirits up." He chuckled.

Chloe giggled softly, gently taking the other Neko's arm and started leading him towards the large campsite. "This is where the festival will take place, thought it would be nicer if the festival was outdoor than being stuck in the palace." She spoke.

Jet followed the female down the hill, inspecting the bright-colored banners and flags. Glancing at the differently shaped stalls, "Is there going to be games?" He quizzed.

"Of course, have you ever played carnival games?" Chloe asked.

"Never, Jacob is the first owner I've had that took me places, normally I would be stuck in a small kennel." Jet explained.

"Your owner wanted you to stay here as well," The female said.

"I'm surprised he's okay with that." Jet muttered.

"I'm guessing he's worried about someone taking you or something." She shrugged.

Jet followed Chloe around the enormous campground, his mind too preoccupied to hear what she was saying. Jet's train of thought was interrupted as the female Neko gently punched his shoulder, revealing that they were standing in front of the bedroom where he had previously stayed. "Are you even paying attention?" She screamed.

"Yeah," He lied.

Chloe shook her head, not believing him before letting out a small sigh. "Well, Alphonso wants us to be at the campsite tomorrow morning, that way we have enough time to help set up some stalls." She explained.

The Neko nodded as he entered the room and carefully closed the door behind him. He lost track of how many days Jacob had been gone as he collapsed into the bed, inhaling, and exhaling noisily. Jet understood the importance of his work, but for once, the younger male desired to be selfish and have the human all to himself for a few days. "Maybe he'll attend the festival." Jet thought as he rolled into his side. After a few seconds of thought, the man pulled his shirt off and placed it on the dresser before cuddling beneath the blankets.

Jet was jolted awake by the pounding on his door, groaning the male slipped out of bed, groggily slipping his shirt on. Yawning as he opened the door, meeting Chloe's bright blue eyes, "You're late!" She yelled; arms crossed over her chest.

"S-Sorry must have slept through my alarm." He replied, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"We're already behind schedule. Let's go." The other growled, grabbing Jet's wrist and pulling him out of the room.

"I doubt Alphonso will mind," Jet replied.

"Don't make me hit you..." Chloe threatened him and led him back to the festival grounds. She muttered under her breath as she walked towards one of the stalls. Studying the little document on the side, she frowns at Jet. "It appears that one of the stalls requires more than I expected." She sighed.
