Chapter 14
Y/n's POV
Yumeko's presence had added a new dynamic to our group, but we were all determined to make it work. We decided to spend the day at a nearby arcade, playing games and having fun.
As we wandered through the rows of flashing machines, Yumeko's eyes lit up with excitement. "I love games of chance!" she exclaimed, pointing to a roulette wheel in the corner.
We all gathered around the table, placing bets and watching as the wheel spun. Yumeko's luck seemed to be on fire, as she won again and again, much to our amazement.
But as the stakes got higher, the tension in the air grew thick. Mary and Ririka were starting to get nervous, and even Midari seemed to be sweating a little. I couldn't help but feel a flutter in my chest as I watched the wheel spin.
Finally, the ball landed on Yumeko's number, and she let out a triumphant whoop. "Yes! I knew it!" she exclaimed, collecting her winnings.
We all cheered and congratulated her, but as we moved on to the next game, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Yumeko's love for games of chance was intoxicating, but it also seemed dangerous.
As we continued to play, I couldn't shake the feeling that things were about to get even more intense. And with Yumeko by our side, anything was possible.
