Closing chapters

Ang's p.o.v

" alright baybeh dis is it imma be in the crowd yellin' ya name iight." Aug said as we pulled up

" okay ." I said before pecking his lips

" I luh you ."

I looked down and blushed only for him to pull me chin up .

" why you blushin' like dats da' first time a nigga said he luh you? " he chuckled

" cause it feels like it is ." I said honestly as I felt the butterflies in my stomach

" you're so perfect ya' lucky I gotta find a seat ."

" alright go find you seat boy ." I said before shooing him off

I walked to the room where all of us graduating today where suppose to go.

I say us graduating today because they divided it up by classes being that this wasn't just a regular unversity it was just a med- school ,

so instead of hundreds of is graduating today it's like 50 and about 50 , 60 more in the next group of graduates and so forth  .

When I went in the room I spotted Jason I honestly haven't heard from since we spoke about his brother  except for an occasional hey , or bye.

But back to his brother situation he hasn't really keep me posted about it so I assume that it blew over .

"Hey ." I said causing him to look up from his phone 

" wassup ang I'm sorry or should I say nurse ang ." He said playfully before giving me a side hug

" I can say the same for you I'm honestly proud of us these past months even years here struggling to finish a semester but we did it ."

" don't I know it but I can't say I'm 21 and a RN now that's an accomplishment." He said causing me to smile

" well you know but I never asked how have things been with you and your brother? " I said playfully flipping my hair before I got serious

" uh we really haven't had a conversation on that the last few times we saw each other but i gave him a ticket to come though ."

" that's good you did your part by reaching out ." I said

"Yea,  they motioning us to get in line so we can walk in the auditorium  if I don't get to check you before we leave just know that it was nice meeting you and I hope all this working stuff goes in your favor." He said sincerely

" thank you Jason and same for you ." I said before  going to find my place on line being that it was alphabetical order and my last name was carter so I was in the front

We stood on the line for about five minutes before we went in the auditorium .

We sat in your seats and the little ceremony began .

The auditorium wasn't that big so it was easy to spot people I was searching for aug and when my eyes met him it also met my mother and father .

This feeling that I was feeling at the moment couldn't be described I was overjoyed  right now , and thanks to August I swear he never failed to make me smile .

Of corse we have our petty arguments that we argue just to argue but what relationship Doesn't.  I'm  just happy that we're leaning this relationship shit together ..

Cause I don't know about him I want this for a long term thing , but hey maybe I'm too young and dumb to actually believe my first real boyfriend will be my husband and the father of my children one day  .

I honestly hope it is but only the lord knows what the future holds.

The Dean and professors were saying speeches and shortly they started to call names which only took about thirty to forty minutes .

And as promised when my name was called leave it up to my parents and aug to be the loudest .

I was happy though all this hard work paid off . and I know cam is looking down on me smiling proud of his Gigi.

After the names was all called we all Threw our caps up like a traditional graduation and that was pretty much the whole ceremony .

I quickly got off the little stage to find my parents and aug ..

"You lookin' fa Somebody?"

I turned around to see a smirking August I pulled him in for a hug so I could whisper in his ear .

" I should beat your ass for tricking me like this ."

He just chuckled as I broke the hug .

" daddy !" I yelled before embracing him happily

" I'm proud of you angel ." He said before kissing my forehead

Of Corse leave it up to my mom to be crying .

" why you crying mama?" I said laughing

" I .. Just .. So .. Proud " she said through sobs

" your a hot mess but can we get outta here I'm ready to get out this dress ." I said

" I'm ready ta watch you get out dis dress " aug attempted to whisper under his breath  but failed when my dad gave him a mug

" pops I was kiddin ' " he said trying to redeem himself knowing he was serious

" better lil nigga just cause I gave you my blessing don't mean I still won't give you these hands ."

" these hands? Dad your like 60 sit down " I said laughing

" yea whatever ." He said rolling his eyes

" anyway what's the plans I wanna have a peaceful day and maybe go out to dinner tonight can I have that? " I asked

" anything you want princess ,and why not like 5ish for dinner?" My dad said

" sure ." I said

" alright me and your father is gonna head back to the hotel to get changed and we'll see you later on  okay ?" My mom said

" yea but why you guys got a hotel instead of just staying with me ?" I asked confused

" well it's your dads hotel and I'm just staying in their until I'm ready to go home either later tonight or tomorrow ." My mom answered

" oh ok ."

With that I said bye to my parents and intertwined my hands with aug's and walked out the school closing one chapter of my life now let's see what the future holds .

Little did angel know  someone at that graduation spotted her and august and was prepared to pop up in her future at any given time with no warning and not on a friendly visit either .

I decided to make the graduation and party two different chapters I know it was kinda rushed and short  but it wasn't really that important I had to bring jason back in and out the foreshadowing part 👀💯🙏

Yall I'm so annoying . I was done with this so long ago I just was to lazy to post it. 💀😂
