Ang's p.o.v
It's been about a week since I was diagnosed and have been on my medicine. For the most part I don't experience any side effects other than I can't take it on an empty stomach obviously like most pills .
I was currently laying in my bed when I got a call from August .
" hello "
" nothing laying down "
" yes I took my medicine " I finally said with an eye roll he does this all the time .
"Aye don't have an attitude wit me na' but you wanna go out ta'night ." He asked
" out like where cause my club days are over ."
" yea mine too but na like dinner ."
" okay that sounds good how should I dress ? Causal causal , sexy casual or sexy sexy?" I questioned
" what da hell is dat doin' by sayin da word twice ang ? but I guess sexy sexy man ." He said causing me to laugh
" okay papa what time ?"
" 8:37 "
" why so specific ." I said laughing
" just be ready man damn ." He said then hung up
Well that wasn't very nice .
Being that it was about 3 now I had time . I decided to call Milan cause I haven't seen her in a minute of corse I put her on about the whole situation but we haven't chilled.
The phone ranged and on the second ring she picked up .
" hey lan lan " I said
" hello angel " she said in a whining tone
" what's wrong ?"
" I'm fucking bloated and have cramps and I don't fuck with Chris right now what you need though? "
" why do I have to need something? And take some aspirin or something but I do need help with what to wear I'm going out to dinner tonight ."
" causal sexy ? Or sexy sexy? " she asked instantly
" that's what I asked august and he was so confused but he said sexy sexy , but not to over the top ."
" hmm ... what about that black jumper with the mesh in the front you picked up when we went to the mall a few months back . it's sexy cause it shows your goodies or whatever but it's not over the top or slutty ." She answered
" ooooh that's perfect cause I haven't worn that yet ." I exclaimed
" yea maybe you'll get a little play tonight if you know what I meannn ." She hinted
" shidd it's possible nah lemme stop ." I said
" okay I see you bihh tryna be grown and shit but on a serious note how are you feeling and be real ang. "
" since I've started the medicine a lot better and I've even gained a good 5 pounds back in a week. so I honestly can't complain and you already know aug is on my ass about it so no slacking over here." I said honestly
" that's good sis , ang I know you feel like you gotta handle certain stuff by yourself but you don't I'm always here real talk I don't wanna find stuff out after the fact you know ."
" I know lani I'm sorry I got you it's something I needa work on but imma get better at that ."
" alright ang I need to stuff my face and whine about being in pain to Chris so I love you call me about your date tomorrow."
