CLOSE GATE.

Will sent us a coded message to close the gate. While everyone else was talking to him, Dustin played me the same coded message on his walkie-talkie so I could translate it.

"Are you sure that's what it says?" Steve asked.

I rolled my eyes. "I don't know, you tell me?" I replied sarcastically. "Let's not believe the vampire, who knows how to decode this. Let's find that piece of paper and use it instead. Maybe it'll read 'let's get ice cream' instead."

"Not funny."

"I think I'm hilarious." We jumped when the phone started ringing. "Shit. Shit. Shit." Dustin ran over and slammed the phone. "Pull the cable!"

"They won't call again," Dustin said. Point was proven when the phone rang again. I sped over and yanked the cable off the phone. "Ok, let's leave it unplugged."

"Do you think he heard that?" Max wondered.

"It's just a phone. It could be anywhere," Steve said. "Right?"

My eyes widened. "Unless he can pinpoint where it can be." I heard this loud hissing coming from underground as something clawed its way out. "Shit, he knows where we are." We all gathered in the living room as we heard screeching.

"That's not good," Dustin muttered.

I motioned to the kids. "Stay here." I looked at Nancy and Steve. "You guys, too."

"You're not gonna go out there," Steve argued.

"I'm with Steve on this," Nancy agreed.

The back door opened. Hopper rushed inside with two loaded guns in his hands. Even if Dart and the other Demogorgons somehow get past me, I trust Hopper to keep them safe.

I looked at Hopper. "Make sure no one leaves. I'll be right back."

Ignoring Steve and Nancy's protest, I made my way outside. My eyes scanned the front yard as the monstrous screeches got louder and closer.

"Whoo-hoo, Dart," I called. "Where are you? Big bad vampire out here." I heard rustling in the bushes. Stupidly - yes, I mean it like that - I took a step closer.

Four Demogorgons jumped out of the bushes and snarled at me. One immediately lunged at me. I grabbed the Demogorgon by its neck before snapping it in half. Another leaped up with its venus fly trap mouth coming at me. My hand grabbed hold of its lips before I ripped that sucker in half. I sped over to the third one and sunk my fangs into it. I ripped the Demogorgon's throat off. I threw the body to the side while spitting out the chunk of skin I bit off.

"Gross," I muttered. Demogorgon's blood has got to be the foulest I've ever tasted. I turned around to go kill the last Demogorgon but my head felt like a thousand knives kept stabbing it over and over again.

I dropped to my knees and grabbed my head as I felt my temperature rise. The Demogorgon wailed as it staggered from side to side. My brows furrowed when the Demogorgon slowly collapsed on the ground, dead. What the hell?

I looked up as another figure walked out of the woods. Her hand was outstretched toward me. My eyes squinted as the figure walked closer.

"El?" I mumbled.

"You lied to me," she stated sadly. "You told me you weren't one of them."

I felt the pain in my head increase. I grunted as she took a step closer. "I'm not....a Demogorgon." My throat began closing. "El."

My body was thrown into the Byers' household. My back went through the window, scaring everyone. El didn't remove the pain, so I was gripping my head as soon as I rolled on my back.

"Shit," Steve cursed before running to my side.

"What's going on?" Nancy rushed out.

I could hear Eleven's footsteps getting near the door. She used her powers to slowly unlock it. Hopper cocked his gun and pointed toward the door.

"Don't shoot," I groaned. Steve helped me sit up but El added so much pressure I began to scream. The door began opening. "Don't shoot. It's -"

"Eleven," Mike breathed. Eleven stood at the entrance looking at all of us. Hopper lowered his gun as El's eyes landed on Mike.

"Mike," she gasped.

Mike immediately pulled Eleven into his arms. I could feel the pain slowly leaving as Eleven cried.

"Is that..." Max wondered. Lucas and Dustin gave her a confirming nod.

"I never gave up on you," Mike cried. "I called you every night. Every night for -"

"353 days," El finished happily. Mike seemed shocked at the news. "I heard."

"Why didn't you tell me you were there? That you were ok?"

"Because I wouldn't let her," Hopper admitted. He got closer to Eleven and took in her appearance. "The hell is this? Where you been?"

"Where have you been?" Eleven asked as Hopper hugged her.

I stood up. "Wait," I panted, ruining their moment. "You guys know Eleven?"

"Yeah," Hopper said. "How do you know her?"

"She's been to my house a couple times," I answered.

Eleven began to panic and held her hand out toward me. "She's Demogorgon."

"What? No, El. She's a friend," Mike rushed out. "She's  - She's..." Mike looked at me for the ok, which I gave. "Bela's not a Demogorgon. She's a vampire."

"A vampire?" Eleven repeated.

"We'll explain later, ok." Mike glared at Hopper. "You've been hiding her." He shoved him. "You've been hiding her this whole time!"

"Hey!" Hopper snapped as he grabbed Mike's shoulder. "Let's talk. Alone."

Hopper took Mike to another room and closed the door. I began listening in on their conversation. Mike began yelling at Hopper for keeping Eleven away but Hopper only did it to keep her and everyone else safe. And I don't blame him. Hopper wanted to protect everyone and thought this was the best idea.

"Bela?" Max called me while Dustin, Lucas, and Eleven have their little reunion. "Does Billy know you're a vampire?"

I shook my head. "No," I said as I crossed my arms. "None of you guys aren't supposed to know anyway. I mean, I could compel you to forget but..." I shrugged my shoulders. "I guess, in a way, it's nice that you guys know." I started to laugh when Dustin showed Eleven his teeth and purred. "No, matter how much of a dork they can be."

I know she's not really asking about Billy because she's worried. She was just too nervous to introduce herself to El. So, being a good friend, I gave her a light shove.

"Eleven?" Max called out. She held her hand up. "Hey. Um, I'm Max. I've heard a lot about you."

Eleven ignored her and ran straight into Joyce. "Give her time," I told Max. "She'll warm up to you, eventually."
