Colby was pacing around the room, waiting to tell Sam, his best friend in the entire world, that he was in a new relationship. Alora looked at him and went over to comfort him. Giving him small pecks along his neck. He looked down at her and smiled.

"You make me so happy," Colby said to Alora. Alora giggled, "I'm glad I do."

Just then, Sam walked into the room with a smile. "What's up, guys?" he asked.

Colby took a deep breath and looked at Sam with a severe expression. "I have something to tell you, man. I'm in a new relationship," he said.

Sam's smile faltered momentarily, but he quickly recovered and pat Colby on the back. "That's awesome, dude! Who's the lucky girl?" he asked.

Colby grinned from ear to ear before placing his arm around Alora. "It's Alora," he said. Sams' eyes went wide and then filled with tears, burning with anguish that stung the nostrils like saltwater.

"That's awesome, man! You have been waiting for the right girl, and I'm thrilled you found her!" Sam said, tearing up more. Alora smiled at Sam, grateful for his reaction. She knew how much Colby valued Sam's opinion, and she had been worried about how he would react to the news."Thanks, man. I appreciate your support," Colby said, hugging Sam. "I just wanted to let you know before I made it public."

"Of course, dude. You know I've always got your back," Sam said, wiping his tears.Alora could see Colby and Sam's genuine friendship, which warmed her heart. She knew Sam was happy for them and would always be there for Colby no matter what.

As the three talked and laughed, Alora felt a sense of belonging that she hadn't felt in a long time. She knew she had found something special with Colby and was grateful that Sam was also a part of their lives.

With a smile, Alora leaned over and gave Colby a small peck on the lips. "So wait, you're telling me I encouraged you too to get together?" Sam said, his eyes wide for the second time tonight.

"I mean kinda, you were the one who got two rooms and let Ally and I stay together", Colby said. Sam smiled so wide and hugged his best friend again.

"Well, we have to get back to LA. When do we officially leave?" Alora asked the boys."We leave in" Colby checked his watch. "Like 2 hours. We should get back around tomorrow around 5 pm. Just in time for our date," Colby said the last part towards Alora.

Alora blushed at Colby's words and smiled at him. "I can't wait," she said, feeling a nervous excitement in the pit of her stomach. This would be their first official date as a couple, and she wanted everything to be perfect.

Sam noticed the way they were looking at each other and grinned mischievously. "I'll leave you two lovebirds alone. Don't do anything I wouldn't do," he said with a wink before heading out of the room.

Colby rolled his eyes at Sam's teasing before turning to Alora with a grin. "Ready to head back to LA and start our new chapter together?" he asked, taking her hand in his.

"Absolutely," Alora replied, squeezing his hand back. She couldn't wait to see what the future held for them.

As they made their way out of the room and towards the car, Alora couldn't help but feel grateful for the unexpected love that had come her way. She had never been in a relationship before, and the thought of it scared her, but Colby made her feel safe and cherished. She knew that he would always be there for her, and she would do everything in her power to make him happy. As they settled into the car, Alora leaned on Colby's shoulder, feeling relaxed and content. She closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling of his arms around her. They had a long journey ahead of them, but she didn't mind. As long as she was with Colby, everything would be perfect.

As they drove through the night, Alora couldn't help but think about how much her life had changed in such a short amount of time. She had gone from being alone and lonely to have two amazing friends and a loving boyfriend. She felt like the luckiest girl in the world.

The car ride was long, but the company was excellent. Colby, Alora, and Sam discussed everything, from their favourite movies to childhood dreams. The more they talked, the more they realised how much they had in common.

"Did you ever have any pets growing up?" Alora asked, breaking the silence.Colby chuckled. "Yeah, I had a dog named Buddy. He was the best. What about you?""Same here! I had a golden retriever named Max. He was my best friend," Alora said, a hint of sadness in her voice.

Colby noticed her tone and squeezed her hand. "I'm sorry, Ally. What happened to him?""He passed away a few years ago. It was tough," Alora said, wiping away a tear.Colby pulled over to the side of the road and turned to face her. "Hey, it's okay. I'm here for you," he said, cupping her face in his hands. He gave her a small kiss and smiled against her lips. Colby and Alora fell asleep against each other, and I was woken up by Sam saying something. I was not awake to hear it, but Colby told me what was happening.

"12 minutes left of the drive," he said kissing my ear.

Alora smiled and opened her eyes, feeling a sense of anticipation building inside her. She looked at Colby and felt her heart flutter at the sight of him. He looked handsome and happy, and she couldn't wait to spend more time with him.

As they arrived in LA, Alora felt a sense of excitement building inside her. She knew that their date would be incredible, and she was looking forward to spending the night with Colby. As they walked into the restaurant hand in hand, Alora felt a sense of awe at the beautiful atmosphere. The place was stunning, with a warm and intimate ambience that made her feel comfortable and relaxed.

As they sat down, Colby looked at her with a smile. "I have a surprise for you," he said.Alora looked at him, feeling curious. "What is it?" she asked.

"Well, I know how much you love sushi, so I booked us a private sushi class with one of the best chefs in town,"

Alora gasped, "Is that our date?"

"Yep thats it" Colby said, smiling at me.
