ᴘᴇʀꜱᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ | On the outside Wayne seems like a emotionless, blunt person when truthfully he struggles with communicating and outwardly expressing his emotions. With an IQ of 165, 5 above Einstein, his mind is constantly spinning. This causes Wayne to not notice subtle hints or flirting. It has to be outwardly spoken or extremely obvious for him to realize someone likes him. Wayne still hooks up with others, but has only ever been in a relationship with one person. Wayne tends to speak his mind, even if it seems harsh at times. He has been referred to as blunt and someone with 'no filter'. He doesn't understand common slang or text lingo. He is an old school soul.
ʙᴀᴄᴋɢʀᴏᴜɴᴅ | At a young age Wayne developed brain cancer. He was in and out of hospitals for three years while he fought the disease. It made it difficult for him to read, focus, and understand language. When Wayne was thirteen he nearly died from the disease. Wayne slowly began to recover. While in the hospital he met a girl who he instantly clicked with. She seemed to understand him better than anyone, knowing what he felt without having to outwardly express it. Behind closed doors Wayne was much more physical and outwardly expressive of his emotions. Just before his fourteenth birthday he was deemed 'free of cancer'. Due to a job opportunity Wayne was forced to move with his father to a new town and lost touch with the girl. He doesn't know if she even survived.
Wayne was enrolled in high school football by his father who wanted his son to be more involved in sports and social environments instead of playing chess and studying all the time. After building some muscle, Wayne excelled in football due to his slender build and extreme speed. He was not only the fastest on the team but also the smartest. He was the embodiment of someone who looked like the opposite of a 'football player'. He is a four time world champion chess player.
He was nicknamed Brute by his teammates as a joke to how slender he was compared to all other jocks buff appearance and for his brutal bluntness.
